Unusual early repoussed silver and amethyst pin, Mexico,c.1930. Very early, it is a combination of colonial and Taxco silver designs. Of good size and weight, it measures 3" wide by 1 1/4" wide and is signed "MEXICO SILVER". In good condition, but each silver ball has some dents. EXTREMELY RARE: Large and very substantial(weighs 20 troy oz.) sterling OPEN serving bowl hand made by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. Beautifully hand hammered, this piece measures 11" by 7" by 2 1/2" high. It has a rounded bottom and sides with beautiful handles. The sides are rounded inward and will not accept a top. The scrolling foliage climbs 3.25 in. tall on this hand made beauty. It is also large enough to fit up the arm in comfort. It measures 2.25 at the small end and 2.75in. diameter at the larger end. This silver is thick weighing 197 grams. The barrels and hinges are also thick and strong enough to handle the mammoth size of the piece over all this time. This is an unmarked Mexico City very old piece. I believe it to be from the late 20's...

These 1-3/8 x 1" earrings have had their screwbacks mounted over the mark (MEX), but they test as silver and the amethyst cabochons are genuine. Hand made in the early 1930's this large 2 1/4" X 2 1/4" Spratling design weighs 47 grams. The buckle will fit up to a 1 1/4" wide strap. The high 980 grade silver provides an exceptional silky texture to the design. The hallmarks on the back are WS TAXCO 980 Mexico. This design is pictured on p. 150 of SPRATLING SILVER by Cederwall & Riney and on Goddard's spratlingsilver.com. The buckle is in excellent condition with a beautiful patina. This design was made in at least 3 sizes...

Made in Mexico Silver necklace of fine workmanship having origins from Mexico City boasting great style. The repousse is with no dents and the fine S links lead off from the lengthy drop. The length is 18 inches but you can hook into a smaller length with the original spring ring. The amethysts are without damage as well. The center piece is approximately 3 inches across and 1.5 inches tall with 67 grams of thick repousse.

We have a signed, early Fred Davis bracelet today to offer. The amethyst stones are a mix of milky swirl to a dark purple. When you look into them it appears to be a whole other world inside them. They are without chips or cracks. I could not do justice to them in my photos and there is reflection on their surfaces. They are a fancy barrel cut and the all silver links area cut in a half cylinder shape. There are no dents or damage. A little over 1 inch tall in height and a weight of 70 grams...
