The SPRATLING DE MEXICO hallmarks suggest that Spratling designed this intricately constructed silver & chrysocolla mosaic brooch in 1949-50. This was shortly after his Alaskan design period. Being offered is an exceedingly rare circa 1935 sterling silver arm bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. A very early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Handwrought panels that wrap from the wrist to the arm using a 7 clasps mechanism. Dimensions: bracelet starts at 6 1/4 inches and goes up the arm to 8 1/4 inches. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition. Excellent weight. Truly an amazing bracelet!

Circa 1943-1948, the "Armadillo" design was originally created by Valentin Vidaurreta. It's a very striking and unique piece which immediately commands attention. This bracelet has two opposing silver discs set in the center of a black strap with a silver buckle closure. Featured on page 28 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by penny Morrill, this is the Hector Aguilar Fertility Bracelet with Dimpled Dots. It is in 940 silver and c.1940. One of his most well known designs, this bracelet measures 7 1/2" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 102 grams. It has a pin closure. One of the dots in one of the domes is punched out. It is visible in the photo. I believe this is original to the making of the bracelet.Signed for Hector Aguilar as shown. A classic HA bracelet.

This ring made by Miguel Martinez is such a striking creative piece of seeing a stone an letting the rock speak. The band flows from underneath to the front to hold in the stone. The dimensions are 12.4 grams heavy and a size 8.5 which can be sized. The face is 1.25in. long and .75in. wide. This is an early piece of Miguels work and he became the principle designer of Rancho Allegre. Properly hallmarked as show. Fabulous and daring piece.
