Margot Van Voorhies was definitely the Queen of the Mexican Silver Renaissance. After her divorce from Antonio Castillo she began her Taller Margot De Taxco and created the most wondrous of jewels. A Mexican sterling silver and amethyst cabochons bracelet circa 1930s 1940 This 7-3/8" length and 5/8" wide bracelet is a classic Mexico design, and the gem stones are genuine. This bracelet is stamped STERLING 925 TAXCO with a 3 eagle mark. It weighs 18.2 grams, it has a box clasp, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but there is a tiny triangle shape gap on one amethyst. It doesn't appear to be a chip from damage...

An impressionistic Mexican sterling silver 2-5/8" x 2-1/4" starfish pin c1950s by Beto. This attractive vintage pin features abalone with inlaid malachite/turquoise; it is stamped STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO 925 TAXCO GBC and BETO, and it weighs 9.9 grams. This item is in very good vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, or losses, but there does appear to be a bit of cracking from dryness around the malachite stone on the centre of the brooch...

Here is a solid, well crafted sterling bracelet with greens stones(perhaps turquoise but probably chrysocolla- not tested). With partially obliterated marks, it appears to be 950 sterling. The clasp is a bit tricky - it snaps shut, but to open, one needs to press down on the turquoise cab while pressing the bottom of the box clasp to release the locking mechanism.Measuring 8" x 3/4", it weighs a hefty 84grams.

This massive cuff by Antonio Pineda features a design inspired by the French cave of Lascaux. He made several items with this design which can be found in the book "Silver Seductions" on page 141. This bracelet measures 2 1/4" at the front tapering to 1" at the back with an inside measurement of 5" and an opening of 1 3/4". Very heavy at 135.3 grams. This bracelet is a signed Hector Aguilar X chased jewel. The height is .75in. tall and there are 4 bezel set amethyst stones. There is a 2.5in. diameter and it fits more like a bangle but it is hinged. The silver is thick at 60 grams heavy. The amethyst ranges in colors and swirls of colors. This is a published design in Silver Masters by Penny Morrill. This is a very rare bracelet you never see and is a perfect buy for collectors.

It has been a long time since I have offered a mosaic Mexican silver necklace...

Absolutely stunning on with a length of 7 inches and a weight of a solid 68 grams. Hallmark correctly shown for Antonio Pineda. The presence is sleek at just under 1 inch. Each moonstone is framed with two caviar balls. The moonstones glow a beautiful blue and there is no damage or repairs. There is some patina but not heavy leaving to buyer to decide for their own personal taste. Clasp is tight and closes with a click. An excellent example from the Mexican Silver Renaissance.

This Margot de Taxco pin is a rarely seen design, with open-back repoussé and tiny silver beading which graduates in size. This double facing swan design is Margot's # 5291, and is collector quality. Measures 2 5/8" wide, 1 15/16" tall. Weight is 41.2 grams. Signed and hallmarked "Margot de Taxco Sterling Made in Mexico", with the eagle assay 16 and design # 5291. In excellent vintage condition.
