A vintage stunning sterling silver bracelet by Plateria FarFan from Mexico in a geometric puzzle design.

Marked on the back Hecho en Mexico 925 D. F. around FarFan.

The bracelet measures about 7 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide. Has a box clasp that snaps securely. Has some tarnish. The bracelet has a few links that are slightly bent. Not really noticeable when worn. Heavy and well constructed. Weighs a total of about 61 gr. Pre eagle, (pre 1948).

Classic early geometric design.

A very unique early Antonio Pineda bracelet with thick heavy 970 silver links set with Tiger's Eye stones featuring carved double portraits. This is a substantial bracelet suitable for either a man or woman measuring 8" long by 1" wide and weighing a heavy 136.8 grams. Hallmarked with the Antonio Crown and the eagle 17, Silver 970, Hecho en Mexico, ZZ 732. Secure box clasp and attached safety chain. The Silver has light age related wear...

The bold design of this cuff features Viking influences, with embossed traditional patterns on an oxidized background. The terminals are curved for easily slipping the piece over the wrist, and there are applied triangular plaques where a safety chain was attached. The bracelet is inscribed inside and dated 1967. The Georg Jensen post-1945 mark appears on the edge of one terminal, and the design number 78 is on the other. There is a 1/16-inch impact under one edge (see photo 5)...

A modernist cast sterling silver pendant in a 'pitchfork' design by noted Mid Century silversmith Christian Schmidt, (1926-1974). Signed with his stylized 'S' hallmark and Sterling. Measures 2 3/8" long and 7/8" across. Three dimensional curved design. Interesting contrast of dark textured patina on the sides and polished surfaces on the top. Would look great on either an neck ring or chain.

A wonderful, textural, sculptural sterling bracelet designed by Knud V. Andersen for Anton Michelsen, Denmark, circa 1960. The unique texture resembles that of a tree bark. It measures 8" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. Weighing an impressive 105 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. The pin closure is secure and there is also a safety lock. A terrific piece of mid-century Scandinavian jewelry.

Large handmade mixed metals(gold and silver) modernist pin with blue oval chalcedony(1 1/4" by 7/8"), c.1960's. The stone is bezel set off center. The design consists of positive and negative space, as shown with applied dimensional gold and silver geometric pieces versus handcut holes. Pin has substantial weight and measures a VERY LARGE 2 5/8" IN DIAMETER. Very rich with a high level of artistry and original design...

Mystery maker. Unsigned unmarked silver coral ring. Ornate foliate shank and applied silver leaves at the shoulders. 1 1/8" top.

The ornate shank is original to the piece. This foliate design has been seen on some signed Peruzzi; the Italian one using 80% or 800, while the American using 925 sterling.
Is it European or Chinese?
The genuine salmon coral with lighter shading is often seen in continental jewelry...

Today we are offering a signed Taxco 980 necklace constructed using the technique of repousse. This necklace is made with thick silver weighing 109 grams. The length is 18.5 inches. Each link going around the neck is 2.25in. long. The drop is 2.75 inches across and 2 inches tall. It bears a natural patina and has no damage or repairs. The stones are without chips or cracks. One of the best "manufacturers" of silver jewelry and holloware in Peru Industria Peruana created some amazing "Inca Revival" (if I am permitted the term) pieces around the middle of the 20th c. when Graziella Laffi was also active. Their designs are beautifully executed with crisp detail and careful finishing and very often it is Peru's rich history that provided the motifs...

The stone is clear, well faceted showing lots of sparkle and is 15mm x22mm. The over all face front of the piece is 1.5in. tall. Absolutely stunning very big Danish sterling silver modernist vintage 1960s statement size ring with luminous blue green abalone shell inlay, by Danish jewelry maker Arne Johansen.
