Circa 1960's - 70's, this Carmen Beckmann cuff pulls out all the stops. It's an exceptional bracelet which I have not seen before, and believe to be very rare. Seven Mexican fire opals of varying sizes are at front and center. The stones are magnificent, and have flashes of green, orange, blue, and purple. A striking modernist sterling silver ring from Spain designed by Joachim S'Paliu. Born in Cordoba in the 1940's he became one of the leading mid century modernist jewelers of Spain.

Has a zig zag and curved band of sterling with a raised tumbled brown and black mottled stone. Not sure of the name for the stone.

The front of the ring measures 1 1/8" long and 3/4" across. The band is 3/8" wide.

Sterling ring by deceased modernist jeweler, Jo Catanzaro, Buffalo, NY, who died in 2004 in her 80's. Handmade with oxydized and shiny silver elements.
