A very large, heavy 18K gold Venetian Etruscan fob charm pendant set with oval brilliant cut amethysts and pearls. The gold surface is heavily decorated with applied wire-work and rosettes. The amethysts have vivid, even coloring. The pearls display good luster with a slightly rose overtone that nicely complements the amethysts. The jump ring is marked "Italy 18K." This is easily the largest and heaviest Venetian Etruscan piece we've had.

This sterling silver necklace was designed and signed (c.1940) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The pendant measures 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" and can be worn as a brooch by easily detaching the 20" long sterling silver chain. The pendant with chain weighs 110 grams. Four large heavy sterling silver links set with oval cabochon Amethyst stones create a spectacular bracelet by the famous Fred (Frederick) Davis. Each link measures 2 1/4" by 1 3/4" with a total length of 7". Very heavy at 116 grams. Hallmarked with the joined FD, Silver Mexico. Pin closure. Nice condition, with light wear, tarnish. This is a seldom seen bracelet and a wonderful treasure for the collector.

Early & rare this vintage sterling silver, turquoise and coral bracelet was designed circa 1930-48 by Matilde Poulat. The dove (palomas)at the center is raised so it appears to be inflight. Poulat signed her designs Matl, a variation on the Aztec word for water. The center panel is 1 1/2" across x 1 1/4" high. Length is 7 1/4". Each link measures 1" high. Hallmarked Matl & Matl 0.925. A stunning Belle Epoque brooch in the form of a fern worked in silver-topped 18K gold and set with 89 rose cut diamonds. The curving shape and the delicacy of each individual diamond-set leaf gives the piece a lightness that is very attractive for wear with today's clothing styles. The pin could also easily be converted to a pendant by attaching a gold chain at either end. In the 19th language of flowers, fern conveyed the sentiment of "sincerity."
