A heavy pair of 18K yellow gold mesh stirrup-style cufflinks. A round diamond is set into each end of the closing mechanisms. The mesh is distinguished with diamond-shaped punched decoration that adds more texture to the design than is ordinarily seen. The diamonds are of nice quality, graded as I/J color, SI1 clarity. Each cufflink is fully stamped with French 18K gold hallmarks and also bears an unidentified maker's mark.

A fine pair of modernist 18K yellow gold earclips by Burle Marx set with intricately carved amethysts in the “forma livre” (free form) style. Haroldo Burle Marx was particularly known for his use of large gemstones, often fashioned by carving or tumbling rather than faceting, a technique he invented in 1948. The color of the amethyst is deep purple and is nicely even throughout the stones. The gold surfaces are decorated with the fine florentined engraving typical of Marx’s pieces...

Formed as square panels with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation. The design is called "Pine Needle." The earrings have the original screw backs, which are in good working order. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. Each earring measures 3/4 inch square. Weight: 6.6 grams

Beautiful sterling silver bracelet signed by Los Castillo circa 1950's. Weight 90 grams, 3.01 oz. 2 repousse curved fern frond silver leafs connected by a tight spring hinge are used to form a bracelet 3 1/2" wide at the front tapering to 1 1/8" at the back. The inner circumference of the bracelet when closed measures 6 1/2" but expands to fit a larger wrist or arm. This design can probably be attributed to Margot de Taxco during the time that she was married to Antonio Castillo...

An Art Deco period 14k gold ring with an assortment of semiprecious gemstones circa 1920s-30. This size 5 ring has a dome style with a top gemstone and fine wirework accents; the stones include garnet, rock crystal, tigerseye and others. It measures 5/8" across the 7/16" high setting and it is stamped 14K. This ring weighs 3.6 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

These cool, sterling silver cuff links have a unique, "rocklike" design. They measures 7/8" x 1 1/8" x 3/8". The backs are marked with the James Avery hallmark (3 candle candelabra flanked with the letter J on the bottom left and the letter A on the bottom right with Ster below with or without the copyright C). The toggle findings are both marked STERLING as well. They have good heft and are in excellent condition: c. 1960s.

Measures approximately 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures about 1 7/8" at the widest. Has some tarnish and surface scratches. Nice contrast between the oxidized and polished silver. Fine example of Mid Century Modernist studio jewelry. Looks great on!

The work is especially fine, very deep carving with cross hatching and detailing over the entire surface...
