One of several exciting Art Deco buckles we acquired from a Florida estate, this beauty offers gorgeous details and versatile coloration along with great condition. Measuring 2 inches by almost 3, it's of thermoplastic (probably Bakelite) formed in high-relief for the look of crocodile leather. Also notice the elegantly shaped "prong" that dangles at the center and resembles aged ivory.
This is a one-part buckle that you can stitch to a belt or sash (up to 1 1/4" wide)...

This is an amazing bracelet - a total statement. Wear it alone, add more charms, or group the bracelet with other, similar bracelets for a serious WOW factor.
The very chunky chain is of silver tone metal with two different link designs. However the decorative caps on the charms appear to be silver. (?)
As with all of my vintage jewelry, I did not polish the links before photographing the bracelet...
A Wonderful Antique Bakelite Bangle Bracelet Collection Vintage Art Deco, c.1940. These bakelite bangle bracelets pair up beautifully in shades of red, butterscotch amber, and dark green. Wear them all together or mix and match as you please. The bracelets measure about 2 5/8 inches in diameter and the five bracelets together measure about 1 inch wide. These bracelets date circa 1940's and are in lovely vintage condition.
A large vintage Art Deco black bakelite geometric shaped brooch with handpainted white polka dots and lines surrounding flashy white rhinestones. This unsigned 4-1/8 x 1-1/2 pin has a brass c-clasp, and it has a depth of 1/2" across the curve which indicates this pin may have been worn on a hat, along a shoulder or on a coat...
Chic big statement set of three matching asymmetrical heavy Lucite bangle bracelets in ivory and black, all from the same estate. Seamless polished Lucite.
1970s or 1980s. Each is 1 inch wide at widest point, 5/8 inch thick, and 2 5/8 inches inside diameter. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Photos

This is a deeply carved art deco piece - the bar is 3 1/8" x 7/8". It is good condition except for a slight bend in the pin stem. The color on my monitor is a bit more brown than the actual pin. In some light it looks more neutral and in others brown. I did the bestIcouldwith it, but just couldn't come up with the exact color, close but not exact. It has the old "C" type closure and it is not marked.
This is an old 1930s-1940s bakelite bangle. It is cherry red, slightly domed and 5/8" wide. t is plain - no carving, and one of those bakelite bangles that I love to wear mixed and stacked with other colors. It is in good condition with no problems and no marks.
What a treasure! I have never seen this pin before, and I believe it to be quite rare. It depicts Josephine Baker dancing her famous Banana Dance. The brooch is huge - 5 3/4" x 3". It is made of French Galalith and is all handcarved and painted. It dates back to the 1930s. Josephine is wearing gold jewelry, a necklace, bracelets on both arms and her ankle. The brooch is in fine condition considering the age. Painted details are intact, and the carving is intricate and impressive...
I'm not sure where the terminology came from to call these old necklaces cherry amber since there is no amber present - only bakelite. This one is typical of the necklaces one finds under cherry amber bakelite - a rich red faceted, graduated bead necklace, hand knotted. It is 27" long and has a simple spring ring closure. The largest bead in the center is 10 mm. and the one nearest te=he clasp is 2 mm. They have been simichrome tested and are in beautiful condition with no problems.
This is an unusual brooch and all I can figure out that it might represent is a cowboy and with his hat, and the dangling chaps. However, you may see something totally different. All I know is that the red pin and dangle are bakelite and the black is glass. It is 3" long by 2" wide, and it has an old "c" clasp. The brooch is in good condition, and it is not marked.
A rare mixed material Art Deco necklace made in the 1930s or 1940s.
46cm (18 inches) long
This is a small carved dress clip from the 1930s more than likely. It measures approximately 1" x 11/2". It has a molded pattern in front. The clip on the back is solid and tight. The piece is in good condition with no problems, or maker's marks.
This is a really nice old carved red bangle bracelet - 5/8ths on an inch wide and domed. It is in very good condition with a standard 2 1/2" interior diameter so it will fit most people, I think. It is carved all the way around.
This is a nice old green bakelite bangle marbeled with yellow. It is 3/4" wide and domed all the way around. It has a standard 2 1/2" inside diameter. The bracelet is in good condition with no problems and no marks.
Early mod ring in black Lucite or hard plastic, with brilliant strass stones. 1960s, possibly French. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.
I've had this big guy for a lot of years and have enjoyed wearing the pin. t never fails to bring complements. The fish is 3" from the end of his sword to the tip of his tail. The golden colr finssit up 1" atop the body. The bakelite is striated to look like fish
scales a there are two rows of clear rhinestones around his neck and the eye is red paint and a little i worn off. Other than that, he is in good shape and unmarked.
A fine rare carved bakelite brooch, c. 1930s. The pin has a turtle perched upon a leaf. It measures 3 1/2" by 1 7/8". Condition is very good with oxidation on the pin back from age.
