An extremely fine pair of Art Deco cufflinks worked in platinum and 18K yellow gold. Each square face is centered with a gypsy-set old European cut diamond, and has square cut blue sapphires at each corner. The stones have excellent color and clarity, especially the sapphires, which are bright blue. The platinum is finished with a matte surface, causing the gemstones to seem even more vibrant. These two-sided 14kt-gold cuff links are decorated with engine-turned engraving on white gold and are edged in yellow gold. The bars on the backs are marked P14K. There is some minor scratching, as shown in the photo. They measure a little over 1/2 inch.

These octagonal cuff links are decorated with white tour à guilloche enamel work on a sterling base. A silver resist floral design has darkened over the years, creating a dramatic contrast with the enamel. Each cuff link measures ½ inch across. Total weight: 4.9 grams

A classic pair of very high quality 14K yellow gold double-faced cufflinks by Carrington. Each pair has one face centered with a round cut sapphire and another face with a old European cut diamond, both surrounded by a lightly engraved border. The quality of the stones is very good. The diamonds are graded at H color, VVS2 clarity and the sapphire are vivid violet-blue with eye clean clarity. The back of each face is marked with Carrrington's hallmark.

A pair of double-sided cufflinks, the faces fashioned from navette-shaped plaques of lapis lazuli simply set in 14K yellow gold. The coloring is very even, with no hint of white in the stone. The lapis has an unusual matte finish which provides a sophisticated look. Tested and guaranteed 14K.

Set in white metal panels with scroll edges, the abalone is carved or incised with modified starburst designs, and exhibits beveled edges. The backs have sturdy findings, with no stress or stretching to the metal. Each button measures about ½ inch square.

A cigar smokers must have is this 14Kt yellow gold cigar cutter from the 1920’s. According to the makers mark it was patented in 1902. The width is 15/16” the length is 2 1/8” closed, and 2 5/8” in the open position.

A nice pair of oval-faced cufflinks worked in platinum over 18K gold, each face set with a 4-pt single-cut diamond and a 4-pt square step cut blue sapphire. The stones are set on the bias and are highlighted with raised platinum bars that are slightly polished to contrast with the matte finish of the surround platinum background. The faces are connected by chains to gold torpedo backs. Tested and guaranteed platinum and 18K.

A handsome pair of 14K gold double-sided cufflinks, the faces set with dark green jasper plaques. The gold has a soft “bloom” sometimes seen on jewels from the late 19th century. Elegant and classic two-sided design of sterling silver round buttons with black enamel that appears hardly worn. They are from the 1920s, probably American-made, and marked sterling on the back.
