These great cuff links display a Modernist and American Studio design: textures, craters and "dimples." The face measures 7/8" x 3/4". They are circa 1950's - 1960's. They have hinged, bullet toggles and are in excellent condition.

A classic design of engine-turned engraved vertical lines and molded edges on the larger, rectangular buttons, the smaller sides ovular with a textured surface. The cuff links are lightweight but well made, and appear to have been hardly worn. The connections and bridge bars are very secure; both bars are marked 835 for silver content with double-struck crabs, apparently to indicate Paris (silver mark used 1838-1962). The maker's mark also appears in a diamond-shaped reserve...

Decorated with circular engraved centers and white enamel Greek key borders. The bridge bars and connecting rings are in excellent condition. There are tiny spots of tarnish, especially around the embedded enamel. Marked sterling on the reverse; each button measures about ½ inch across. Weight: 5.9 grams total

With one side molded as lilies with fine detail, attached by a curved bridge bar to ovular anchor buttons. They are marked sterling with a script mark of L, possibly LaPierre Manufacturing Co. of Newark, NJ. Each flower measures 5/8 inch long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 5.6 grams total

These 1960s cuff links are formed as square buttons, with diagonal scores enhanced by oxidation. They are hollow, but have a substantial feel and a nice heft. The larger buttons are marked Taxco; there is no sterling mark but all of the buttons test as sterling silver. The large buttons measure just over ½ inch square; the small ones, just under ½ inch square. Weight: 10 grams total

These cuff links measure 5/8" x 3/4" x 1/4". They display actual sea horses in seagrass / sea weed. Dwelling in shallow, saltwater, they are actually this small size. The cuff links have a white background, making the marine fish very easy to see. They are under convex plastic and set in gold tone.

These cuff links are by the famous silversmith Perli. They are chain link cufflinks. The circular part has a diameter of 3/4". The bottom, rectangular portion (connected by the chain links) has rounded edges and measures 3/4" x 3/8", with a fine, hammered finish. The backs are clearly marked Perli 835. Chain link cuff liks are the original form of cufflinks: made of two decorative parts, connected by a chain. They are not commonly seen in everyday wear anymore...

A classic pair of heavy 14K yellow gold Edwardian cufflinks. The oval faces are simply finished with an engraved border. Cufflinks of this type are usually fairly lightweight, but this pair has noticeable heft. The backs of the faces and the connectors have 14K marks.

A handsome pair of Victorian 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the oval faces enhanced with translucent guilloche enamel in French blue surrounded by a raised laurel wreath border. The faces are attached by arched conectors to beanbacks. Each cufflink is stamped with Carter, Gough & Co.'s hallmark.

Composed of four identical eight-sided sterling silver buttons with molded edges and bold bands of black and maroon enamel. The enamel shows no damage or loss; the backs are securely attached by bridge bars. (The tiny dark spots in the photos are areas of tarnish.) Each button measures a little over ½ inch across. A heavy pair of Art Deco 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the oval faces simply enhanced with parallel line engraving and joined by an ingenious swivel mechanism. We’ve never before seen this particular form of closure. The faces are slightly convex rather than being entirely flat, thus accounting for the unexpectedly heavy weight. The cufflinks are stamped with “585” for 14K gold and with French import marks...

A fine, heavy pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the “mors de filet” or “snaffle bit” style. When the ends are flipped up into their closed position, the entire cufflink has the look of horse bit, especially with the raised diamond patterns on each end. The ends of the connectors are inset with round brilliant cut diamonds. The cufflinks are marked indistinctly with French gold hallmarks.

A beautiful dress set comprising two double-sided cufflinks and three shirt studs, the round faces set with abalone disks encircled by platinum borders. The abalone has fine guilloche carving in a chrysanthemum pattern and the platinum borders are decorated with an engraved laurel wreath design. The abalone has very nice luster with overtones of rose and green. Abalone cufflinks are richer looking and much more uncommon than mother-of-pearl...

An outstanding pair of Edwardian 14K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks, the simple oval faces set alternately with round rubies and old European cut diamonds. The faces are joined by unusual arched connectors that give the cufflinks a nice, comfortable spread to fit the wrist. The cufflinks may be worn with either the diamond or the ruby sides showing outward. The gemstones are of fine quality...

This money clip is light but sturdy, with an openwork design that appears to depict part of the Chinese symbols for happiness. The surface shows very little wear and a soft patina. The back is marked sterling. The clip measures 2 3/8 inches long by just over 1 ¼ inches wide. Weight: 13.3g

Formed as a dollar sign, this money clip is of a high quality in terms of thickness and workmanship. It bears the mark of R. Blackinton & Co., of North Attleboro, MA. This particular mark was reportedly used 1900-1967, so the piece is dated conservatively. There is also a number, 2555 H, on the back. The clip has a warm patina, indicating some age, but very few signs of wear. There is a tiny imperfection at the bottom of the dollar sign, from either an impact of some kind or a manufacturing flaw...
