A very good pair of Danish silver cufflinks signed by Hugo Grun, one of Denmark’s leading jewelers in the Art Nouveau (Skonvirke) style. Grun was active 1918-1937. The faces are designed as a pair of opposing scrolls punctuated with silver beads. The faces are connect by solid bars to early toggle backs. The connectors are marked “H.Gr 830S” in the style used during Grun’s lifetime.

An elegant pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks in a style blending elements of Aesthetic and Art Nouveau design. The round faces are decorated with a finely-pierced design of grapevines complete with clusters of fruit. The faces are joined by chains to torpedo backs. Fully marked with French hallmarks for 18K.

A superb pair of double-sided Art Deco silver cufflinks by E. Besseire & Cie. The hexagonal faces are decorated with red, green and black blocks of opaque champlevé enamels highlighted with silver shield-shaped and squiggle accents. The faces are connected bychains. The backs of each face are marked with Besseire’s maker’s mark and with assay marks for silver.

A handsome pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks in the classic button style. Each round face is fashioned as a button, complete with gold stitches. The faces are lightly decorated with a crosshatched surface for contrast with the shiny, raised borders. The toggle backs are marked “14K”.

A very attractive gold framed stick pin with a hand painted sepia portrait of a young lady. Stick pin is attached to the frame with a base metal circle.
Condition: Painting excellent. Metal attachment on the pin a bit dscolored.

Decorated with embossed Prince of Wales feathers, with a patinated surface. The bridge bars are marked 800 for silver content. They are securely attached to the buttons and exhibit no metal stress or repairs. Each button measures about ¾ inch by ½ inch. Weight: 6.9 grams total
Set with chrysoprase cabochons; they are nicely polished, oval in shape, without any sign of wear. They are securely set in bezel mounts. The bridge bars are marked sterling and appear well soldered and secure, without any repairs or metal stress. Each button measures 1/2 inch long by 3/8 inch wide.
One side oval, the other oblong; both sides are marked sterling. The bridge links are secure and the abalone is in nice condition, with no cracks or chips. The longer side measures ¾ inch long, the other measures ½ inch long.

This wonderful two-piece belt buckle is typical of 1930s Czech pieces. It is made of glass and set with brilliants.
A very fine pair of Victorian figural cufflinks worked in 14K yellow gold. The front faces are in the shape of ceremonial Scottish halberds. The shafts are set with round and antique cushion cut rubies and the heads are set with rose-cut diamonds. The rubies have nicely saturated color that contrasts well with the glitter of the diamonds. The rubies show no indications of heat treatment and their internal characteristics suggest they are of Burmese origin...
Rectangular, with one side decorated with elaborate raised flower and scrolled leaves. The anchor button shows lengthwise ridges. The marks look to be European, but are as yet unidentified. The cuff links look hardly worn, with secure bridge bars and connecting rings. The larger buttons measure ¾ inch by ½ inch. Weight: 11.2 grams total
Decorated with three curved inset areas of abalone, surrounding an impressed and oxidized pre-Columbian motif. The clip is secure and retains its flexibility; it appears to have been hardly used. The back bears a Mexican circular mark indicating sterling and the maker’s initials of GAV. The clip measures 1 ¾ inches wide by 2 1/8 inches long. Gross weight: 16.8 grams
