Santo Domingo Pueblo Depression Earrings 1930s It's difficult to find Santo Domingo Depression earrings, and even more difficult to find good ones. Often, they are simply tabs from necklaces that someone has taken off a necklace when it's been restrung and then turned into earrings. (That's why so many necklaces seem to have fewer tabs than they should.) Far more desirable are true earrings, usually created in the shape of a thunderbird to compliment the pendant on the necklace...

This is among the best I've ever had the pleasure of offering for sale. The term "Depression" is a general term applied to these pieces although they were made and sold well into the 1960s...

This is a classic Mark Chee piece, heavy and well made with high grade Morenci turquoise. It is about 5 3/4" inside circumference PLUS a 1 1/4" gap which could be carefully adjusted. Marked with the artist's hallmark, also " sterling hand made ", about 7/8" wide in excellent vintage condition.

These nice earrings are a Frank Patiana design, they have been converted from post to screw back in the distant past and it is very possible that the screw backs covered up the Patiana hallmark ( see images ). They were originally purchased in Arizona marked sterling on the screwbacks and with an "F" on the back of the ear rings. Nice turquoise. About 1 1/4" long nice vintage condition.

This vintage spinach jade horseshoe pendant hangs on a gold filled chain 17-1/2" long. The horseshoe is 1" high, including the bail, 5/8" wide, 1/8" thick. It is difficult to give the exact age of this bangle, but it probably dates to about 1950-60's. The condition is very good, with some minor flakes off the pendant, hardly noticeable when worn.

This vintage spinach jade bangle has an inner diameter of 2-1/2", an outer diameter of 3-1/4". It fits a size 7-1/2 glove hand. There are no chips or cracks. There is a slightly satin finish to the jade. I have another bangle which is almost identical, same size, also for sale. It is difficult to give the exact age of this bangle, but it dates to about 1950-60's.

Gorgeous, antique pair of dangle earrings composed of gilt brass and most gorgeous carved emerald green jadeite jade. These are screw back style; 2 3/8" long x 3/8" wide, (60mm x 10mm). These are in excellent antique condition. Weight is 4.3 grams. This is natural undyed jadeite jade. Please note that colors may vary due to different monitor resolution. This necklace of Red Feather and round Venetian glass beads was restrung, as the old twine string and fastener had deteriorated and was no longer secure for wearing. There are 31 feather beads, and 36 round and rondelle clear glass beads, all dating to the 19th century, and traded around the world, particularly in Africa and North America. The red feather beads vary in color from dark red to a brighter red and each has the distinctive feathering in both white and blue...

Six strands of red Mediterranean coral branch nuggets are 20 1/2" long with the sterling silver cones and hook and eye.

Natural red coral nuggets are 5-7 mm. We had it restrung as the old string was well worn.

A Silvered Ring with Bone Inset, Chinese, Early 20th Century

The rectangular ring is centered with an etched piece of bone depicting a scholar in a garden. The rope twist bezel frames the bone plaque and is placed on an expandable band. The verso is stamped “CHINA.”

Museum-quality necklace of 16th-century trade beads. This piece was passed down from generation to generation in the village of San Pedro Quiatoni, south of Oaxaca, Mexico.
