This lovely (unmarked but tested) 10kt gold jewel is from the early 1800s (around Jane Austen's time), when cannetille work was the vogue: very fine gold wires twisted into thin ropes and then formed into rosettes and whatnot. The amethyst is a lovely delicate shade, and weighs approximately 2.5 carats – it’s very deep. Amethysts are said to bring calm, help banish headaches, and protect against drunkenness. This wonderful Georgian ring could have been worn by one of Jane Austen’s more well-to-do characters! This is an Antique Victorian Bohemian garnet, gold gilt, oval, hinged bangle bracelet. It has 49 sparkling, prong-set, faceted garnets. The bangle is 1/8 inch wide (4 millimeters). It has a box clasp and a safety chain. It will fit up to a 6 1/4 inch wrist comfortably. It is in excellent antique condition.
Circa 1820, this magnificent 15k rose gold fob has an intricately carved dragon motif seal in banded agate. It has alternating beaded and fluted supports to its setting and a lovely rope-like engraving around the face of the seal. The seal measures approximately 1 1/8" long and 7/8" wide. The setting of the seal is just over 1 1/4" tall. It is the perfect companion to J1849, our 19" long 9k rose gold chain ($695).
The seal and fob are in excellent condition and the overall weight is 10 grams.

This is an antique Regency, 18 karat gold quizzing glass. During this period, the use of a hand held lens became a fashion accessory, not limited to poor vision. Eyeglasses were deemed unfashionable, and the well dressed woman would wear this 'socially acceptable' item on a long ribbon or chain. The term "quizzing" was used as the wearer would look quizzically with a stare or glance.

A very ornate and handsome antique 14 K yellow gold hinged watch fob with a beveled natural carnelian. In excellent condition,the watch fob measures 1.5" high by 1" at widest. Acid tests 14 kt. Weight 11.4 grams. Note: Any black areas or discoloration in the photos are reflections from the camera. The fob is in pristine condition and a wonderful piece for the collector.

This beautiful 14k (tested) rose gold pin has a floral and crescent moon motif (a crescent moon is the symbol for the female principal, intuition and new beginnings), accented by 10 rose cut diamonds in closed-back settings. Georgian Garnet Earrings
These elegant 14 k gold earrings are set with five round garnets. The bezel settings have closed, patterned backs. They are Georgian in age and are 3/4" long. Picture 3 shows the lovely detail on the back side of each earring. Gotta love the workmanship characteristic of antique jewelry!
Antique Pique (pee kay) brooch weight 9 grams. This rare piece of pique jewellery is inlaid with gold. It has a finely executed entwined central design with cross dashed border, presented on a band of gold and arrow detailing to the outer edge. It is in very good original condition for its age.
You will find that most pique jewellery items are created in tortoise shell, often made from the hawksbill turtle, pieces were crafted from the 1700's to the late 19th century.
