These rare and remarkable Georgian 15 karat aquamarine earrings, are circa 1820. They are designed with beautiful aquamarines, quite rare to find in jewelry during this period. These Georgian paste earrings have the desirable and rare cushion shape stone. The white, clear stones are set in silver with hand crimped collets. They have foil placed beneath each stone to enhance the reflection of light, as each stone is set closed back, typical of the period. Circa 1820, this magnificent 15k rose gold fob has an intricately carved dragon motif seal in banded agate. It has alternating beaded and fluted supports to its setting and a lovely rope-like engraving around the face of the seal. The seal measures approximately 1 1/8" long and 7/8" wide. The setting of the seal is just over 1 1/4" tall. It is the perfect companion to J1849, our 19" long 9k rose gold chain ($695).
