The serpent’s head and tail are twisted together forming a circle that, in Victorian symbology, represented the eternal nature of love. An incredible Victorian 14K yellow gold watch fob in the form of an 1880’s style oil derrick. The details are amazing, complete with a pump house, a suspended drilling bit inside the derrick and a collection vat. Even spare parts lie around on the base.
