Extremely rare and wonderful gold version of famous boomerang pin by Ed Wiener, NYC modernist, c.1955. Dimensional with high edges, it measures 1 7/8" long by 1 1/4" wide and has a raw orange citrine. This Victorian gold filled slide chain comprises a 48" long rope chain. The oval slide decorated is by 3 seed pearls on one side and unadorned on the other. The slide is slightly loose on the chain and has suffered a small dent. Otherwise, the piece is in good condition.

Superb Retro 18K yellow gold and platinum duette brooch set wtih diamonds and rubies. The design is an exciting overlap of scrolled gold ribbons, the ends accented with platinum and pave-set with round-cut diamonds. The center of the brooch is set with a cluster of prong-set round-cut rubies. The back of the brooch features a mechanism that allows the piece two be disassembled into two separate smaller pins. This "duette" mechanism was used only on the finest pieces during the Retro period...
