A large pair of 18K yellow gold Sputnik earrings by H Stern. The domes are bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, peridots, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and garnets. The Sputnik design was created in the 1950’s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It later came to be called “Sputnik” for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

A very nice Imperial Austrian 18K yellow gold brooch set with a reverse-carved Essex crystal depicting a pansy. Essex crystals with flower themes are very rare. In Victorian floriography, the pansy represented "think of me." The flower is beautifully colored. The crystal is set in a simple twisted rope frame. The back retains the original pinstem and clasp. These could easily be removed and replaced with a pendant bail...

Beautiful rose cut diamonds set in this Georgian brooch. They are set in silver and gold. The largest diamond weighs approximately .40 cts. The entire piece has over two carats total weight. A Victorian shell cameo depicting Aurora/Eos, goddess of the dawn set in a 14K gold frame decorated in the Etruscan taste withe beads and rosettes. The goddess is shown with her chief attribute, a pair of feathered wings in her hair (not to be confused with Psyche who has butterfly wings). An exceptional pair of Victorian carved ivory and 9K yellow gold earrings. The earrings are fashioned as exquisitely detailed cherubs, each suspending three elongated drops. The drops are arranged in the typical girandole style with the central piece hanging lower than the outer elements. A stylish 14Kt white gold, diamond and ruby dome ring from the 1960-s is centered by a 0.40 Ct round faceted natural ruby. The design around the ruby consists of 27 marquee shapes, and each shape is set with a single-cut diamond and arranged in a spiral. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.30 Ct. The ring is a size 4 ½ and it can easily be sized.

A 14k yellow gold diamonds cocktail or anniversary butterfly shaped cluster ring circa 1960s. This vintage size 7-1/4 or size 7.25 ring features one 15 point round brilliant cut diamond (SI-2, G-H colour) along with sixteen round brilliant cut diamonds (total 50 point, SI2-I1, G-H colour). It weighs 5.4 grams and it has a recent independent conservative gemological appraisal in the amount of $2400 Canadian (~$1850US). The 14 K stamp is slightly worn, as is the makers mark, which is not legible...

Each aqua marine stone is 3 x 6 mm. That is a total weight of 2.7 cts. Size is 5 3/4. The are four diamond accents in the shape of a diamond in the center of the ring.

This wonderfully interesting ring is 5.75 in size and is made of 10K gold. The front has a swirled shape with 4 graduating, colored stones (ball-shaped). The inside of the band is marked 10K and has a maker's mark of an S inside a pentagon. Its truly unusual and in excellent condition.

Fine Victorian 18K rose gold stick pin. The thre-dimensional pin is in the form of a horse's saddle. A bit of the blanket peeks out from underneath and is bordered in rose-cut diamonds. The pin is very nicely detailed. Tested and guaranteed 18K gold.

A early to mid 19th century period 12k yellow gold watch fob pendant with a shield shaped genuine rock crystal stone. This 7/8" tall fob measures 1/2" x 3/8" across, and it has a genuine bevelled shield shape natural rock crystal stone held with a bezel. The stones has foiling on the back, still visible but dulled and slightly loose with age. It is unmarked but tests as 12k, and it weighs 1.9 grams (the British Empire had 12K as part of their gold standard until 1932)...
