Handmade 14k and ebony modernist earrings by Betty Cooke, c.1980's. The design features an ebony disc(3/4" diameter by 1/4"thick)around which gold wire is formed. A fine shakudo stickpin mounted in 18K yellow gold enhanced with a ropetwist border. The shakudo plaque represents a geisha formally dressed in a gold-flowered kimono and with an elaborate hairdo complete with ribbons and blossoms. Shakudo elements such as these were transformed by European and American jewelers after the opening of Japan to Western trade in the 1850s. The mounting is 18K (tested and guaranteed) and the pinstem is 14K (marked).

This unique piece of jewelry dates back to the 1940's or early 1950's. The top is a pink and yellow gold geometric design broach that holds the rectangular watch. The watch has a pink face and marked "BLACK STARR & GORHAM". The movement is a 17 jewel GIRARD PERREGAUX. The watch is in working condition. Total weight of the watch with the movement is 9.4 grams. The safety clasp on the pin and the inside of the watch case are both marked 14Kt.

A genuine gold nugget stick pin circa 1900. This antique 2-1/2" long stickpin with an authentic 22+ (tested) natural gold nugget has a twist pin section and the pin section is gold filled. An elegant pair of French Art Nouveau 18K yellow gold earrings designed in a openwork pattern of irises. The flowers and foliage are highlighted with delicate engraving. The gold surfaces are enhanced with the soft matte texture typical of French jewels of the period. The wires appear to be replacements and are stamped with French 18K marks.

Geometric design 14K rose gold earrings circa 1940s. Similar to the tank track bracelets made in that period, may have matched a bracelet, or may have been cufflinks originally and later made in to pierced earrings.

A 3/4" late Victorian gold filled windowed pendant and 18" fine link gold filled chain with springring catch c1900, containing authentic gold nuggets. The two windows on the locket show the gold from both sides; the nuggets weigh 0.8 grams. The locket has a screw closure and a later bale; this necklace is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the bale replacement...

Very simple yet elegant is this beveled oval lapis broach set in 14Kt yellow gold. The lapis is 1 ¼” or 31 millimeter long and ¾” or 19 millimeter wide. The overall measurements of the broach are 1 3/8” or 35 millimeters by 15/16” or 23 millimeters.

A pair of pierced 3/4" across 10k yellow gold genuine ruby and diamond hoop earrings from the 1980s. They are stamped 10K ADL on the hoops, , they have 14k posts and they feature three (~6 point by gauge) rubies separated by two diamonds on each earring. Art nouveau 14K gold and enamel circle pin in the form of stylized orchid blossoms enameled in iridescent lavender and cream. This pin is a nice example of how Art Nouveau sensibilities took a standard Victorian design=--the circle pin--and gave it a new aesthetic appeal. The clasp is marked "14K."

An Art Deco pendant or charm displaying four playing cards each with the pip for an ace worked in black or red enamel. Four aces is an unbeatable hand in poker unless an opponent has a flush. The bottom edge of the charm is engraved “Réussité” (“Success”). The charm and the original jump ring are stamped with French 18K guarantee marks.

An elegant pair of 18K yellow gold earclips by Haroldo Burle Marx set with intricately carved jelly tourmalines in the “forma livre” (free form) style.
