A lovely and very unusual 18K yellow gold, rock crystal, mother of pearl and aventurine glass ("goldstone") locket. The locket is constructed as a beveled oval frame of aventuring enclosing a pair of rock crystal windows, one of which opens to allow access to the inside of the locket. A mother-of-pearl plaque can be left in place so two photos can be displayed or removed so the locket can hold a lock of hair or a pressed flower. This is the only aventurine locket we have seen...

A very nice Victorian 18K yellow gold watch fob seal in the form of a seated hound dog. He (it's very obviously a male dog) is extremely well-detailed and is highlighted with a black enameled collar and cabochon ruby eyes. The carnelian seal was never engraved. This fob seal is a little larger than most and has an imposing presence. The fob is stamped with French 18K gold marks.

Origin: France, ca. 1870. Condition: excellent, sharp detail. Dimensions: 7/8" x 3/4" x 1-1/4" tall...

Each of the amethysts hangs from a gold trumpet flower mounting that echos the central gold plaque. This antique stick pin from the Victorian era and is in excellent condition. It is made of genuine elephant ivory and is hand carved as a bull dog facing forward.

The pin is 2 3/4 inches long. The bulldog is 15/16 inch north/south, 3/8 inch east/west and 5/16 inch thick.

A handsome and elegant "vintage" 18K gold and mother of pearl dress set, dating pre 1989. The set consists of a pair of cufflinks and three shirt studs. It is signed BS&F with their maker's mark. It is also marked W-Germany (where they would have been retailed) and 18ct. The cufflinks measure 16 mm in diameter (a bit over 1/2") and the studs measure 3/8" in diameter. The set is quite solid, weighing 28.1 grams. Condition is excellent.
