This is a 14k and silver Edwardian period oval shaped pearl and diamond pendant. The pendant is peg set with six slightly baroque river pearls measuring 5.50mm - 5.70mm in diameter. There are twelve rose cut diamonds prong set in between the pearls. The total diamond weight is .48 carats. The pendant has the original bail and is bead set with three rose cut diamonds. It measures 1.5" by 1". The pendant is in excellent condition and is circa 1901 - 1914...

Most Edwardian hearts are somewhat smaller than this generously-sized example. The design depicts a central blossom surrounded by scrolls around the edge of the heart. A phenomenal Edwardian platinum, diamond and amethyst bow brooch by Cartier. Four tromp l'oeil amethyst loops, each surrounded in old European cut diamonds, flank a center 1.08 carat, J/K, VS2 old European cut diamond.
