A fine Art Deco period ring in Platinum and 18K yellow gold, c. 1920. The top portion of the shank is platinum, the back of the ring and the rest of the shank is 18K yellow gold. This fine and delicate sapphire and platinum necklace is from the 1920's Art Nouveau period. The 17 inch chain has 4 small sapphires. From the chain hangs a round sapphire of approximately 2 carats. All are collet set. The chain is platinum but the jump ring was replaced at some point with one of sterling silver.
