It's been a while since I offered a vintage Italian silver cimaruta necklace but today I hope to prove the wait worth-while with this gorgeous set from the first decades of the 20th c.. An ancient talisman associated with Southern Italy, the cimaruta was used to protect against the evil eye and in our days, it has been re-invigorated as a powerful wiccan symbol...

Set with four pieces of green art glass to resemble jade, alternating with Egyptian motifs. The central oval piece is flanked by applied openwork lotus blossoms; the sides exhibit applied elongated elements, possibly symbolizing the eye of Ra. The bracelet is probably American, dating 1920s-30s, and is marked sterling. The glass stones show signs of wear, and one of the smaller stones has a small chip to the side, but all are well secured in their bezel mountings...

This one has a beautiful bezel set pierced, etched green 20 x 15mm Jadeite gem stone and marked Sterling.

A sterling silver heart shape photo locket on a sterling link chain c1930s. The 1-1/8" across locket is hand engraved on the front and a lined design on the back, and it is stamped STERLING. The 19" long chain has a spring-ring clasp and it is stamped 925 for sterling (chain appears to be more recent than the locket)...

Beautiful glittering sterling silver 1920s Art Deco bracelet with square cut openback unfoiled stones which are either lead crystal paste glass or rock crystal, prong set in frames with very soft repousse decoration on the backs.
