This lovely, sterling silver, Mexican, well-crafted bracelet displays shiny, turquoise cabochons on each ornate link. It is 6 3/4" long. Each convex link measures approximately 1 1/4" x 1". It has a box clasp marked STERLING 925, and, in a circle on the back of one of the links: TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO (blurry) with the an illegible mark in the middle. It has a V-spring and Box Clasp marked STERLING 925. It has good heft, weighing just under 1 1/2 ounces and is in great condition.

Vintage Circa 1945 early pre assay Mexican Pre Columbian design puffy cheek bird man mask Maya or Aztec ethnographic motif repousse pin with a bird or serpent on its headdress.
Mark: Made in Mexico Sterling - with old style safety clasp hinge.
A most talented silversmith took a sheet of sterling and hammered it onto a pitch bowl to create such repousse detail. Because it is holloware one looks for the air escape openings which in this case are found at one ear.
