Featured on page 28 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by penny Morrill, this is the Hector Aguilar Fertility Bracelet with Dimpled Dots. It is in 940 silver and c.1940. One of his most well known designs, this bracelet measures 7 1/2" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 102 grams. It has a pin closure. One of the dots in one of the domes is punched out. It is visible in the photo. I believe this is original to the making of the bracelet.Signed for Hector Aguilar as shown. A classic HA bracelet.

Very large, it measures 3 1/2" long by 3 1/4" wide. Signature is unusual showing eagle mark(not usual bellmark), one of the earliest dies ordered from Germany - "eagle mark 940 HA TAXCO". This elaborately worked bracelet, done by hand, was made by Maciel Silver Factory of Mexico, c.1950’s. It is marked “925/1000," "MACIEL" (maker's mark), "STERLING MADE IN MEXICO” (see pictures). The central, convex, Aztec god oval measures 1 3/4” x 1 1/4” while the cuff with the eagle warrior masks measures 1 3/8”. This piece is in excellent condition.
