Danish silversmith Gertrude Engel made this unique, modernist ring. Her signature is found on many Anton Michelsen pieces, along with the AM crown maker’s mark (as she designed for that firm). This ring, however, is solely signed by her (see pictures). The rounded band of heavy gauge silver is 1/2” wide. It has a cluster of 10 bezel set carnelian cabochons. It is signed “Gengel,” in script (her maker’s mark), and “925S” and is in excellent condition. It is about a size 5.

This large domed pin measures 2 1/4" in diameter and is made of heavy gauge silver. A sterling silver artist signed hinged bracelet in a modernist design with a second layer of abstract shapes. Marked P L Garré, for Phyllis L. Garré (1920-2018), a self taught artisan who started her third career of jewelry making in Washington state. Also marked Hand Wrought Sterling and 181 which may be a style number.

Measures approximately 7" around and 1 1/4" at the widest. Weighs 52 gr. Has a secure slide in tongue closure and a safety chain...

A modernist brooch by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby in Sterling Silver and Ebony. This large marlin measures 3 3/4" long and 1 1/2" tall. Lightly hammered. Marked fhb, Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds tightly. Nice condition, just a few minor scratches and a little tarnish. A wonderful example of Mid Century Modern jewelry.

A vintage sterling silver large pendant on a silver neck ring. Has a central prong set rough brown and green swirled slab. Not sure what the stone is. Signed on the back with a stylized MLewis, Sterling and a mushroom hallmark. We have not been able to identify the artist.

The pendant measures 3 1/4" long including the bale and 1 3/8" at the widest. Has some minor surface scratches and a warm patina.

Currently suspended from an unsigned sterling neck ring with a hook clasp...

A great, early sterling silver cuff bracelet by Francisco Rebajes with a large silver wire wrapped raw polished brown agate and a freshwater pearl.

Marked Sterling, Original Hand Wrought Design, and Rebajes on the back. Measures 5 1/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Could probably be adjusted slightly but meant to be snug so the central design doesn't roll around. Measures 1 3/4" at the widest.

Fine condition. There are some minor surface scratches to the finish...

Wonderfully designed 800 Silver deco/modernist period pin, Germany, c.1950's. Looks like an airplane propeller and measures 2 3/4" long by 1/4" wide. Signed "800 maker's mark(can't read)" and is in excellent condition......$7 for insured USA shipping & applicable NY tax.
