Sterling silver "palette motif" modernist ring with a green Chrysoprase stone. Circa 1950s. The stone is cracked at the bottom near the bezel and only evident upon close inspection. Priced according to this flaw. Ring measures 3/4" x 1/2". Size 6.5. Unmarked.

A modernist brooch in the shape of a stylized fish by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. Made of sterling silver with a wire overlay.
Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.
Measures 1 1/2" across and 1 3/4" high. Has a rollover closure that holds securely. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Formed as fish skeletons, they are nicely made, with working screw backs that are marked sterling. The backs of the fish are also marked sterling, along with a partial mark that ends with the word ‘Silversmith.’ Please note that some of the pictures show the surface with a yellow cast; the truest color of the silver is in the last two photos. Each earring measures 1 1/8 inches long. Weight: 6.6 grams total
A rare sterling silver and caged raw purple stone brooch by noted MCM jeweler, Arthur King. Probably amethyst. Unmarked, attributed to Arthur King. We have seen the same brooch signed Sterling, King. The raw amethyst is caged in thick and thinner sterling wire and suspended from a thick curved wire.
Measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/2" tall.
Has a rolling safety clasp that holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

A vintage hammered sterling silver circles necklace by the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. This is signed with Sterling and the crossed JL of the artist.
Great hammered texture, circles are all about 7/8" in this example. Measures about 23 1/2" long. Closes with a secure hook clasp.
Fine condition, has some minor scratches and darkened patina. Nice hand wrought feel. Weighs about 31 Gr. We believe this may be the heavier example.

Sleek squared off design. Measures a little more than 6 3/4" around and 1/4" wide. Closes with a secure tongue clasp. Marked 925 and Puig Doria on one of the connector rings.
Very nice condition, has some minor scratches and very tiny nicks along the edges.

Measures 2 1/8" long and 1 3/4" across. Marked Sterling Lasak. Rollover clasp holds securely. Lightly hammered. Has some minor tarnish.

Each earring is composed of two trapezoidal pieces linked by a squared U-shaped wire. The screw backs are original and in good working order. The backs indicate sterling and bear the mark of modernist designer Paul Lobel. The earrings show very few signs of wear. They measure 1 ¾ inches long by 1/2 inch at the widest part. Weight: 7.6 grams total
This cool ring is adjustable in size. It consists of an oval, concave disk with an applied letter P, or maybe an abstract bird ??. At any rate, it is wonderful. The head measures 7/8" x 5/8". The band is 1/4" wide. It is marked Orb (in script-a bit "rubbed off") for Otto R. Bade, and also marked STERLING. It is c. 1950's-1960's and is in excellent condition. FREE US STANDARD S/H
Beautiful dramatic handmade modernist necklace composed of sterling elements connected with brass or bronze links, with a very large bezel set onyx
stone at the center. Not marked but the silver elements test positive for sterling silver. Circa 1960. Substantial at 162 grams. Wearable length is 21 inches. 2 inches wide in the center. Excellent condition.

Very interestingly constructed sterling silver man's ring. The bar linking the ends of the band are topped with a cultured pearl on one side, and a flat black onyx or glass piece on the other. Unmarked. Excellent vintage condition. Size 12.
