A pair of vintage hammered sterling silver brooches from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis, available in two sizes. Great hammered texture. Larger brooch measures about 1 3/4" across and 1 1/2" high. Smaller brooch measures 1 1/2" across and 1 3/8" high. Both pieces are marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. The larger brooch also has the ® mark. Rollover clasps hold securely. Very nice condition, have some minor scratches and darkened patina...
This interesting pin exhibits a streamlined design and was made by the
Rytosztuka collective of Krakow, Poland. It features a vivid, prong-set teal green and white marbled glass cabochon, applied to a thin squared rod. The original rollover clasp is original and secure. The back shows the Polish registry mark for Krakow, 1963-1986 and .800 silver, as well as the RYT mark for the maker and a C7, possibly a mark that is particular to this workshop...

A vintage sterling silver pendant with a teardrop Australian opal cabochon on a lightly hand hammered link chain. Pendant measures 2" long and 1" across. Chain measures about 20" long. Double hook closure. Has some minor areas of tarnish. Nice work by a talented artisan.
This silver pendant, of abstract design, is randomly decorated with cabochon carnelians. The back exhibits two bails to string a chain through. There is a partial maker’s mark on the reverse and possibly two other marks. The pendant tests silver, and could be European. It measures 2 ¾ inches wide by 2 inches long. Gross weight: 26.4 grams

A sterling silver modernist brooch by Helen Scheier Adelman, (1909-1999), American Mid Century jeweler. This brooch depicts two antelope in thick polished sterling with a darker bumpy surface enamel background.
Measures 1 3/8" tall and 1 1/8" at the widest. Signed Adelman and Sterling on the back. Nice contrast between the darkened rough and shiny layers. Rollover clasp holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches.

Our photos don't do justice to these bronze and sterling silver artisan-crafted earrings. The curved bronze crescent shapes are bisected by undulating sterling silver forms. Each earrings is completely hand crafted, with the exception of the sterling screw back mechanisms. Circa 1960s. From the posts to the bottoms, the earrings hang approximately 3". Marked "sterling" on the screw-backs.
Two modernist sterling silver hand wrought brooches by Lore Garrick, (1920-2013) in organic free flowing styles. Lore Garrick made hand crafted jewelry in NYC in the 1950s. Known as 'Mother Lore' because her son became Tamal Krishna Goswami, she made the first pieces of jewelry for the Hare Krishna movement in Los Angeles.

A rare, stunning vintage sterling necklace and earrings by Modernist Joachim S'Paliu of Cordorba, Spain. Born in 1944, he produced a significant line of jewelry during the 1960's and 70's. This big, bold, neck ring and attached pendant opens and closes with a tight hook clasp on one side of the neck ring. The neck ring measures 15" around total and the pendant measures 3 1/4" long including the bale. Total weigh of the necklace is 70 grams. The earrings are clip backs with posts for pierced ears...
The ring exhibits a hammered surface and soft patina from age. It has a wide band that is seamlessly attached to the dome top. The ring is marked serling and tests definitely as such. It is sized at a 7 full; the dome rises about ½ inch. Weight: 13 grams
