A modernist pendant by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant, made of sterling silver with a wire overlay reminds us of a stylized longhorn. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.
Measures 1" across and 1 1/4" high including the bale. Chain measures 16" and has a spring closure that holds securely. Has some tarnish and a nick to the silver wire, (which can be buffed out if desired).

A great, early sterling silver cuff bracelet by Francisco Rebajes with a large silver wire wrapped glass orb. Marked Sterling, Original Hand Wrought Design, and Rebajes on the back. Measures 4 3/4" around with an opening of 1 3/8". Could probably be adjusted slightly but meant to wear snuggly so the orb doesn't roll around. Measures 1 3/8" at the widest. Fine condition. A rare sterling silver and caged raw purple stone brooch by noted jeweler, Arthur King. Probably amethyst. Marked on the back, Sterling King. Measures 2 1/8" across and 2 1/8" tall. There is a light gold wash on the silver. Has a rolling safety clasp that holds tightly. There is a small area on the edge of the stone that is a little rough, may be original. Classic Arthur King design.

An interesting pair of sculptural mixed metals pierced earrings by the New York jeweler, Marci Zelmanoff.
These earrings have sterling wire details and sterling shepherd ear wires. Measure 2" long and 5/8" at the widest.
Both earrings are signed Marci Zelmanoff and with some sort of code which looks like 02-Z64. Hard to read.
They are in fine condition. Her pieces are quite rare.
This sterling silver belt buckle by renown modernist Ed Wiener exhibits a strong, clean design, crisply forged with a smooth panel of ebony set within a partial applied frame. The back has a well-soldered rectangular loop and prong with no signs of repair; it bears Ed Wiener's mark and the mark for sterling. There is a nicely aged patina, with random spots of oxidation, and a roughly half-inch shallow incision of unknown origin on the surface (best seen in first and last photos)...

A fine, hand wrought modernist sterling silver choker necklace by the California studio jeweler, Gerald Stinn, (1937-2019).
Made up of ten lightly hammered angled links with small connectors. You can have the links all facing the same way or alternate them for an interesting effect.
Measures about 15 1/2" long and 1/2" wide. Probably better for a more slender neck, although an extender can be added. Hook closure holds securely. Marked Stinn Sterling. In very nice condition...
Famous NYC modernist Bill Tendler(1924-1981) made this sterling pin, c.1950's. The pin is signed "TENDLER STERLING" and is in excellent condition. It measures 1 7/8" at the widest point. An outstanding sterling silver modernist heavy cuff bracelet adorned with a large oval shaped Mother of Pearl cabochon.

The abstract and intricate design of this ring completely captures 1950s Modernist design. Stamped 585, which indicates 14K gold. However, I am unable to test this ring and am selling it as unknown material. It appears to be sterling, sterling plate, or white gold plate. The pearl appears to be cultured. Size 6.5.

A vintage sterling silver abstract modernist ring from the shop of Walter Wright, a Los Angeles jeweler. Wright was an associate of Margaret De Patta and sold her work and other modernist jewelry. A five sided central design with three dimensional circles and bars coming off a blackened background. Approximately a size 10. Marked Walter Wright Sterling. Has some tarnish, a few scratches on the back of the band and a little wear to the black. Great example of mid-century modern studio jewelry.

Unusual wide linked vintage bracelet, each link containing a primitively sculpted little crawling human form. The figures are all different. The links are edged with "blobbed" silver lines and the flat surfaces have been oxidized. Unmarked. Tests as sterling. It has a wearable length of 8 inches. Bracelet is made up of 8 separate links, which are each about 1 5/8 inches wide. The little people stick up about 3/16 inch. Excellent vintage condition.

An unusual pendant by the noted modernist jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant, made of a sterling silver 'wishbone' with a dark rusty orange, probably carnelian drop, is a rare design. You can see lots of striations when it is held up to the light.
