Circa 1949-1953, this is a very rare pin from Antonio Pineda, bearing his "Jewels by Antonio" hallmark. It's a superb piece, with two huge amethyst cabochons on either side of an "X", creating an OXO design. Pin closes with a roller. Fabulous sterling tufa cast bolo by Mission/Hopi Preston Monongye ( 1927-87 ). The central piece features a mythical being holding a staff and carrying what appears to be an abstract bundle that is comprised of ebony, turquoise and bone. The central piece measures 3 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide at the top and narrows to 1" at the bottom. The tips are 2 1/4" long. The bolo is hallmarked on the reverse with the peyote bird mark. Unique cone shaped deep Black Onyx stones are set along a swirl of smaller silver cones to create these fantastic modernist earrings in a style known as "Gladiator".
