This is a superb modernist bird pin from Antonio Pineda. It's large, dimensional, and substantial, with tiny beading and an obsidian eye. A design which is seldom seen, and collector quality. Measures 2 3/4" wide. Weight is 39.8 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco Crown, Hecho en Mexico 970, with the eagle assay 17. In excellent vintage condition. Pin closes with a roller.

Signed Silver Mexico this bracelet has a presence that makes it not matter that a major designer has not signed it. It molds to your wrist and the height of the face front is one of the main makers of the fabulous look at almost one inch high. The push pin is hidden under the link to open for the wrist. The weight is 65 grams and the silver is thick. The repousse balls are many and without dents...

Large handmade mixed metals(gold and silver) modernist pin with blue oval chalcedony(1 1/4" by 7/8"), c.1960's. The stone is bezel set off center. The design consists of positive and negative space, as shown with applied dimensional gold and silver geometric pieces versus handcut holes. Pin has substantial weight and measures a VERY LARGE 2 5/8" IN DIAMETER. Very rich with a high level of artistry and original design...

These delicate-looking, lacy links are actually form quite a substantial chain necklace. The links have a clever twist, but still lie nicely when worn. A jump ring at the end bears largely illegible marks, but one appears to have a European shape. The chain tests strongly for silver, with a content of at least .800. The spring-ring clasp may have been added later. The chain measures 24 inches long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 27.3 grams

Beautiful dimensional bracelet with repousse work in pre-Columbian style motifs. Circa 1940. Marked STERLING 925 TAXCO MEX and signed CP or OP. It weighs 51 grams. This piece and most of the other Mexican silver I have listed came from one long time collector's estate. 3 3/4 inches wide in front and with a wearable length (when the edges meet) of 6 1/2 inches. A charming design, nicely molded and enhanced with oxidation, this owl pin is small but substantial. The eyes are composed of turquoise enamel. The rollover clasp is very secure. The pin is unmarked, but tests definitively for sterling silver. It measures 1 ½ inches long by 1 ¼ inches at its widest area. Weight: 11.6 grams

A wonderful vintage hand wrought sterling silver bracelet in an Arts and Crafts design. Signed with a conjoined 'JM' for Joseph Masaniello, a New York Mid Century Modernist jeweler who was instructed in Arts and Crafts traditions. Also marked Sterling. Measures 7 7/8" long and 1" at the widest. Has a hook clasp that holds securely. Curved vines design sits nicely around the wrist. Nice warm patina, very well made.

This elegant work of art is a 1940's Spratling design. The ring stands a bit over 1" high. The ring size is about 7 1/2. It is in beautiful condition with some surface wear. Hallmarked SPRATLING SILVER MADE IN MEXICO.

This bold and edgy Margot de Taxco bracelet is heavy and very substantial, with wide incised oxidized recesses. It's a design which is not often seen and most certainly a statement piece.

A modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by noted mid century New York City jeweler, Sam Kramer.

Measure 1 1/4" long and 1" across.

Have two overlapping wavy pieces of sterling, top is concave and the bottom is convex for an interesting effect.

Marked Sterling and with the mushroom mark of the artist on the back of one dangle. Marked sterling on the back of the screw backs which hold securely.

Have some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish...

This mid-century Margot de Taxco brooch is likely one of a kind. The Victorian era high relief Greek goddess is hand-carved and exquisitely detailed. It's either hardstone or black lava, and Margot designed the silver setting expressly to fit the cameo, using a Greek motif with black enamel. Measures 2 3/8" x 2 3/16", with a weight of 35.8 grams. The Greek goddess is Eirene, and she is known as the goddess of peace and the season of spring...

Measures about 1 1/4" in diameter. Marked Georg Jensen in a dotted oval, 925S, Denmark, and style #363. Has a three dimensional design.

Rollover safety clasp holds securely. In fine condition with some minor surface scratches and some tarnish.

A heavy silver plate oxidized bracelet featuring applied grapes and leaves. Unmarked, it measures 7" x 1-7/8". The bracelet can be a bit tricky to put on with the pin type clasp.
