Decorated with applied grapes, vines and gold leaves, set with an amethyst, this arts and crafts cross pendant is probably English and reminiscent of the work of Henry George Murphy, though it is unsigned. The gold is of a low (probably 10) karat. The cross is suspended from a later sterling chain. It measures 3 inches long by 2 3/8 inches wide; length including chain is about 14 1/2 inches. A sterling silver brooch #82, originally designed by Georg Jensen himself before 1910. Based on the hallmarks shown on this example it was produced between 1910-25.

Measures about 1 3/4" in diameter. Marked GI in a dotted circle, Denmark, and style #82 C. There is another dotted circle that is worn in the center. May have had the GI 830S mark.

In fine condition with some surface scratches and a warm patina.

A wonderfully crafted sterling silver necklace and bracelet by noted Arts and Crafts metalsmith, Clemens Friedell. Made of oval links with raised roses.

The bracelet is composed of three links. It is marked Clemens Friedell Pasadena Sterling on the back side of the hook clasp. It measures 7" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Better for a smaller wrist. The hook clasp holds securely. There is a hammer rub or scrape on the outside of the hook.

A wonderful sterling silver cuff bracelet made for the United States Military Academy at West Point, (USMA), by the New York silver firm, L. Markowitz. Sterling overlay spells out USMA in Arts and Crafts stylized letters.
