A sterling silver modernist brooch by Helen Scheier Adelman, (1909-1999), American Mid Century jeweler. This brooch depicts two antelope in thick polished sterling with a darker bumpy surface enamel background.

Measures 1 3/8" tall and 1 1/8" at the widest. Signed Adelman and Sterling on the back. Nice contrast between the darkened rough and shiny layers. Rollover clasp holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches.

Classic Adelman design.

Composed of a diamond-shaped sterling silver pendant suspended from a chain of curled and flattened sterling wire and amethyst glass beads. The pendant is constructed of separate triangular pieces attached to a central frame of curled wires. The back of the pendant is marked sterling. The entire necklace measures 13 ½ inches long (chain is doubled); the pendant alone measures 4 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide.

Dramatic large hand made sterling Mayan face/headdress pin by LOS CASTILLO, Mexico, 1942. Measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" and signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 530". This pin has a barette-type of closure. However, the points are very sharp so is not a barette but rather an alternate type of pin closure. This can be easily changed to a more typical kind of closure. Pin is in excellent condition and wonderful........$15 for insured US shipping.

Here is a beautiful, ornate, Norwegian sterling silver and enamel bracelet. It consists of 8 butterfly-shaped, linked panels of pearly white guilloche enamel. Each panel has a lovely applied wirework decoration with beaded center. The bracelet has a safety chain and a V-spring and box clasp, on which, “925 S STERLING NORWAY” is marked, along with a maker’s mark of (what looks to me like) an “E” inside a lobed oval. (I am unfamiliar with this artist’s hallmark)...

The ring exhibits a hammered surface and soft patina from age. It has a wide band that is seamlessly attached to the dome top. The ring is marked serling and tests definitely as such. It is sized at a 7 full; the dome rises about ½ inch. Weight: 13 grams

These dainty, clipback earrings are another fine example of the basse-taille enamel work of David-Andersen. The shiny vermeil accentuates the lovely, pearly white leaves that encircle each other on each earring. Both earrings are marked with the David-Andersen hallmarks: the pair of scales, D-A 925 S STERLING NORWAY, with the designer's mark (W inside a circle)...

A modernist sterling silver pendant with a large brown striped agate. This heavy piece is made from sterling silver that is hammered, textured and folded for an interesting 3-D effect.

Marked Sterling and what looks like script conjoined initials, maybe AH or AHP.

The pendant measures 2 1/4" long including the bale and 1 3/4" at the widest. The pendant weighs 33 gr.

Currently on a sterling 23" rope chain that has a secure spring clasp. Would look lovely on a neck ring...

Sterling with cabochon amethyst ball pendant with silver "unfinished" finish look of Bjorn Weckstrom's pieces, probably from Finland, c,1960's. This pendant with a "nature" design measures a large size 2 1/2" long by 1 1/8" wide, is dimensional and of good weight. Signed "925 PJ", it is in excellent condition. Round mod geometric applied designs on dome post earrings script signed "Sterling" "Howison" with large sterling earring backs. Julie Howison a jewelry designer from Portland Maine. These were hammered into a dome shape then a spiral, triangle and squiggle were applied. Total weight of 1/2 Ounce or 15 Grams and are 7/8" across and 1/4" heavy hollow deep.

A superb early vintage Mexican Silver Bracelet by the famous Matilde Poulat aka MATL. Features her signature ornate silver work and a lovely combination of Coral and Turquoise cabochon stones. Measures 7" long, 1 1/2" wide and is quite heavy at 79.5 grams. With the early hallmark "Matl, 0.925, Hecho en Mexico, D.F. MATL" which dates the bracelet to the 1934-48 time period. (Mark is a bit worn). In good condition with a secure box clasp. A fantastic bracelet by this highly sought after artist.

These 1960s Scandinavian earrings have distinctive, lacy frames, each set with a cabochon carnelian in a bezel mounting. The clip backs are marked S925 and are original; the earrings are probably Danish. The earrings measure ½ inch wide.

Early, sweet little ring from Taxco, this pinky is wrought in silver and adorned with what I believe to be an ancient bi-cone stone bead out of which emanate two playful, musical cascabeles. It is not uncommon for vintage Mexican jewelry from the first decades of the country's 20th c. Silver Renaissance to incorporate ancient beads and small artifacts as it was not illegal at the time for individuals to buy and sell them...

Being offered is a circa 1960 .970 silver (better than sterling) necklace by Antonio Pineda of Taxco, Mexico, comprising heavy gauge silver crossing arches with teardrop amethysts; tongue and box clasp. Marked. In excellent condition.

This bracelet is a seldom seen design from Sigi Pineda. It's a spectacular modernist piece with three faceted stones which graduate in size. At first glance the stones appear to be hematite, but they may well be onyx. Opens at the back nice and wide to easily fit over the wrist. Original safety chain attached. A sterling silver artist signed hinged bracelet in a modernist design with a second layer of abstract shapes. Marked P L Garré, for Phyllis L.
