A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by Antonio Pineda, Taxco with dangling hoops.

Measure 1/2" at the widest and 2" high. One earring is marked with the Antonio crown, 970 and an Eagle mark. The second earring is marked Hecho en Mexico. Clips hold securely. These earrings have some dings to the edges, surface scratches and some tarnish.

Set with a large pink agate cabochon that shows very little wear. The setting is nicely constructed with a complex design of tiny tiered and small cylindrical elements encircling the stone. Four wide ridged prongs secure the agate. The inside of the band is marked Handarbeit, with a lozenge that appears to be either a country or maker’s mark, as well as what could be a mark of 925. Circa pre-1960, this necklace produced by Matilde Poulat has a generous length of 23", with a 3 1/4" wide center. There are amethyst stations on each side, with double chains continuing up the neck. The palomas sit next to a vase with turquoise flowers. Length on the center is 2 1/2".

Weight is a substantial 91.1 grams.

Signed and hallmarked "Matl Mexico 925 Patente 10966", along with the eagle assay 129.

This rare Fred Davis bracelet features Amethyst cabochon stones set in links of ornate silver repousse. Circa 1930, it is included in the book Mexican Silver on page 27, plate II-11. Measures 6 3/4" long by 1" wide and weighs 46.5 grams. Hallmarked "FD, Silver Mexico" and is in good condition with a lovely patina. A beautiful and rare find.

A modernist large brooch by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. Made of sterling silver with a wire overlay. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 3 3/4" high. Has a rollover closure that holds securely. Has some tarnish, minor surface scratches and a little extra solder where the wire is attached which is original. Could also be worn as a pendant with a chain through the large loop.

Wonderful post modern hand made sterling and gold ring by Novak, c. 1970's. Of very large dimension, the design shows a soaring bird with a gold head flying high above the band. The gold is directly soldered to the silver. The wing span measures 1 7/8" wide and stands 1" above the band and is size 8 1/4. The ring is signed in two places "NOVAK 925" and is in excellent condition. Very exciting and thrilling piece....$8 USA insured shipping plus applicable NY sales tax.

This size 11-1/2 ring has a Cobalt monogram with flourishes on the 9/16" x 7/16" upper flat area/top (easily polished out and replaced) and it weighs 8.4 grams. A wonderfully crafted 950 Sterling Silver cuff bracelet by Miyé Matsukata who had Atelier Janiyé in Boston. The bracelet has a large sphere at one end and a smaller one at the other. It tapers towards the wire wrapped ends.

Measures 6" around with a 1" opening. Measures 1/4" at the widest. Signed Janiyé Japan 950 and Sterling. Fine condition with minor surface scratches.

This bracelet is from her estate. Provenance available. Amazing work from a talented artisan.

Measures 7 1/4" long and 3/4" at the widest. Weighs 25 gr. Has a round box closure that holds securely. Additionally it has a fold over safety catch.

In fine condition with a warm patina. The light hammering is just wonderful...

He used only the finest materials and displayed a mastery of traditional and contemporary design. This bracelet measures 5 1/2" around in the inside plus an additional 1" opening. Unusual ring featuring textured sterling silver holding a large Rhodonite sphere. The natural stone is pink with dramatic black veining. The design has a trippy organic feel. The stone is quite fine, and probably originated in South Africa. The ring itself is probably American, circa 1970s. The table measures 1.25" by 1", giving this ring a very large presence. Size 5.5. Unsigned. In excellent condition with a nice patina.

The art of "metales casados" (mixed or married metals) was practiced by several Taxco workshops yet I think Victoria was its queen. Ana Maria Nunez de Brilanti combined copper, silver and brass not only to design exquisite jewelry but also hollowware of various kinds and decorative objects. In the necklace presented here she seems to be inspired by Egyptian Revival motifs which is not unusual for her - there are at least a couple of other parures she created that tread that same path...
