A clean, modernist design characterizes this ring, which is composed of a graduated rounded sterling band inset with an irregularly shaped piece of teak or rosewood. It mostly likely dates from the late 1960s to mid-1970s. There is an unidentified triangular mark on the outer band. The ring tests strongly for silver, and is probably European. It is sized a 6 1/4. Post modern handmade sterling and cultured pearl ring by Novak, c.1972. Part of a large and wonderful 32-piece collection(see several other pieces on this website) by this artist whose original concepts set his work apart from others. The ring is signed "NOVAK 925 N w/ARROW(hallmark)" is in excellent condition. The design shows an irregularly-shaped heart design(5/8" across by almost 1/2" high) with a 5 3/4mm. cultured pearl set at center. Delightful hand hammered and uneven edged band measures...

This choker / necklace has a triangle geo pendant with a swinging colorful stone (greens, turquoise, browns). The pendant measures 2" x 2" at highest and widest. The choker is marked with the Taxco assay / eagle mark #3. It is also marked 925RJA MEXICO. This is a great find. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

An elegant, early 20th-century pin decorated with tour á guilloché enamel within wire reserves. A mauve zigzag pattern borders a diamond-pattern white center bisected by silver wire and a band of mauve. Gold stars and flying birds are embedded around the edge and at each end. It has a strong pin stem that hooks into a hooded C-clasp. The back is marked sterling and ‘Genuine Cloisonne’; it bears the maker’s mark of Watson Co. of Attleboro, MA. Very evocative of the Arts and Crafts style but most probably made in the 1940s, this elegant sterling silver ring is adorned with a pearlescent purple moonglow lucite “stone”. This type of luxurious plastic was very popular in the 1940s and extensively used in the world of costume jewelry so I think it’s an exciting surprise to find a sterling ring set with it. Please note the detail in the layers of leaves that form the shoulders, the tiny lozenges and linear designs enhancing the bezel....

Topped with concentric disks, each earring hoop has a graduated width. The hoops are each set with five polished rutilated quartz cabochons, with the largest in the middle. The unidentified maker’s mark appears to be a conjoined JA or possibly a V. Gross weight: 20 grams total. Each earring measures 2 inches long by 1 ½ inches wide. New clutches come with the earrings.

Each of these five late 19th-century heart charms is decorated with embossed scrolls; included is also an engraved faux lock of the same period. The hearts are identical, with one showing minor impacts; the lock looks to be hardly worn. All have their bails intact and are marked sterling on the back. Each heart measures 1/2 inch wide by 3/4 inch long, including the bail; the locket measures just under ½ inch wide by 5/8 inch long. Weight: 4.8 grams total
