A signed hand painted miniature landscape painting porcelain sterling brooch or pin dated 1917. This well executed 2-1/4 x 1-5/8" brooch features a landscape scene with a central cow, a river with trees and hills; it is mounted in an unmarked but tested sterling silver bezel with a c-clasp. A vintage gilt sterling silver pendant necklace depicting a pair of seated and opposite facing dragons (or possibly gryphons or chimeras, not obvious) c1930s. This double dragon 2-1/8" x 1-1/2" pendant is stamped only STERLING. It comes on a 22-1/2" sterling gilt or vermeil rope chain with a ball end and a spring-ring clasp (so it is adjustable as to length). It weighs 15.3 grams and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Vintage Signed Sterling Silver 5 dome pin brooch with "C" catch marked: MAISEL'S STERLING for the Albuquerque New Mexico maker of Native American jewelry of years past. It is 2 3/8" X 1/2" @ widest, this being the smallest dome at 10mm while the mid one is 13mm. Slightest hint of a very shallow dimple that even the camera won't pick up and the "C" catch is a bit askew yet very secure.
Similar seen recently on Jane Russell in an old black and white western movie...

This is a lovely 3-piece suite of earrings and a brooch, circa 1940's. The earrings and brooch have 3 layers of petals / leaves. The top of each one surrounds the turquoise stone. The earrings are screwback and measure 1/4" x 1/4" (x 1/2" high, from the lowest petal to the top of the stone). Each earring is marked SILVER MEXICO. The brooch displays 6 smaller stones with the same floral design with the top petals enveloping the stones. It measures 1 5/8" x 3/8" (x 1/4") and marked STERLING.

This substantial, silver link bracelet is reminiscent of ornate Renaissance jewelry. It is sharply molded with flowers, leaves, vines and beading in openwork panels linked with bars. The largest center panel features a securely prong-set amethyst. The bracelet has a fold-over clasp in good working order. It is a nice quality piece, probably European .800 silver. The bracelet measures a little over 7 inches long; the largest panel in the center measures 7/8 inch wide. Gross weight: 24.5 grams

A hand made large silver and glass Arts and Crafts pin brooch. This fine 2-5/8" pin has a trombone clasp and a hand hammered finish evocative of Arts & Crafts jewelry. It has a large cabochon glass stone which looks like natural agate stone and we think this pin predates 1920 but we aren't positive (however glass stones were used in earlier examples). This vintage set is made of 950 silver. The brooch measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". It has a nice, engraved scene (as do the earrings). The brooch has a trombone closure and is marked SILVER 950. The matching earrings are screw backs and marked SILVER 950, as well. The top of the screw backs are marked SILVER with a hallmark of an A. The Suite weighs 1/2 ounce and is circa 1940s-1960s.

A colorful studio piece molded as an abstract, modified circle and enameled in browns and blues. The back bears a secure rollover clasp on one side and a pendant bale on the other. The piece works best, however, as a pin. There are some illegible marks on the back; although the pin does not indicate silver, it does test definitively as silver, but not sterling. This 1950s necklace has a very clean and classic design, and is well constructed with secure, rope-like chain. The central part of the necklace evolves into a thicker but elegantly entwined chain and tapers off toward the ends. It has the original spring-ring clasp. This attractively enamelled 2-1/4 x 1-1/2" brooch features a shield with a green, brown and yellow enamel maple leaf; the rest of the pin has a fine engine turned design with green and white enamel. This simple but sophisticated ring features a lovely, polished dyed blue chalcedony is securely prong set in a sterling silver mount. The setting displays openwork shoulders with light embossing. The inside of the band is marked sterling and shows an unidentified maker’s mark. The stone exhibits no scratches or other signs of wear. The stone measures stone 7/8 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. Measuring a size 4 on a ring sizer, this delicate sterling silver ring is an unusual estate find that is approximately 40 years old and said to have been purchased by the original owner in a scrimshaw shop on the coast of Maine.

Marked "STERLING 9" on the back, this ring features a very delicately etched trio of blue flowers. The ring is also initialed "W" by the artist on the lower front of the ivory- an exceedingly tiny signature!

A lovely estate piece!
