Handmade vintage pendant necklace in sterling with a very large smoky cabochon stone. The stone is possibly a smoky quartz; I have not had it checked by a gemologist. Circa 1960. Not marked but tests positive for sterling silver. This piece has a great brutalist look, with oblong links, each with a turned up tip, and cut and soldered elements in the center pendant. With a hook clasp. From a Baltimore estate. 18 inches wearable length and the pendant is 2 1/2 inches long...

This Pendant measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/4". It has a Mod Geo Design, accented by its central, dangling "ball." The bail is marked TAXCO MEXICO with FNM in the middle. It also has the Taxco eagle mark with the # 2 in the middle. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

This bracelet is adorned with an oval, bezel-set, onyx stone that measures 3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8". It has a hook-clasp. It is marked 925 MEXICO TM-192 (possibly, 152). It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

This ring depicts a climbing snake. It is adjustable in size. The head of the snake is set in abalone. It is marked TAXCO 925, then (hard to read) MEXICO and maker's initials. It also has the Government assay spread eagle mark with a 3 inside.

Circa mid-century, this is a fabulous necklace and a real attention grabber. Measuring 4 3/4" wide at the top of the centerpiece, 2 5/8" wide at the bottom, it's a huge piece which lays beautifully upon the neck and frames it perfectly. Tane Orfebres is an important silver house in Mexico City, known as the Tiffany of Mexico. This bracelet is wide, heavy, and gorgeous. It has a sleek modernist design, with the one half shiny and mirror like, and the opposite half bearing a slightly matte finish. I have never seen this design before, and it is a stunning bracelet. Signed and hallmarked "Tane Sterling Mexico", with an "A" within a triangle...

This great bracelet measures 7" long. It features 13 sterling and enamel charms that connotes travel throughout the United States and Canada. Each charm is marked with a sterling mark, as well as a maker's hallmark a sterling mark, as well as a maker's mark, as does the bracelet itself. It has good heft (just over 1 ounce), and is excellent condition.

A rare sterling overscale hinged six panel bracelet in an overlapping petal motif by Danish Modernist Bent Knudsen. Each heavy gauge silver petal has a slightly concave design, is hinged and has a smooth edge. The clasp is an ingenious screw bolt. It measures 7 " end to end, is 2" wide and weighs a very substantial 138 grams. The scale and weight set this bracelet apart from all others of similar design. Breathtakingly beautiful this vintage sterling silver cuff bracelet, Navajo or Southwestern based on the style, is one of those pieces that become heirlooms. Exceptionally well crafted, it is centered by a huge oval lace agate, the color of the stone showing at times powdery blue, at times light grey. Set in a fine saw-tooth bezel, the agate is surrounded by beading and beautiful, richly layered foliate and floral overlay...

This mid-century bracelet from Los Ballesteros is a book-piece design, shown in "Warman's Jewelry" by Christie Romero. Certainly one of the most sought after designs from Los Ballesteros, this is a stand-out showpiece. It's large and heavy and supremely gorgeous, with colorful faceted stones in vivid hues alternating between incised stars. Closed, wearable length is 6 3/4", with a width of 1 11/16". Weight is a very substantial 140.9 grams, or over 4.5 troy ounces. Collector quality.

This great necklace is circa 1970. It is composed of sterling silver and vibrant, turquoise mosaic inlay-style. It measures 17 3/4" long and consists of 17 links that measure 7/8" x 1/2". Each link is slightly convex. It is marked TAXCO MEXICO 925 in a circle, with LVR in the middle and marked TU-08 below. It has a V-Spring and Box Clasp. It has good heft, weighing 70 grams / 2.5 ounces and it is in very good condition.

This cool ring is adjustable in size (to size 9). It is sterling silver with 3 abstract flowers buds: turquoise, quartz, onyx, tiger's eye and a red stone -- cabs. The band is marked: TAXCO MEXICO (in a circle) with S?C in the middle. It is also marked with #3 assay mark. The ring is really quite pretty and in excellent condition.

This bracelet is quite sought after. It is the Silpada sterling silver "Cha Cha" Toggle bracelet. It measures 7 1/2" long. It's marked 925 and stamped with the Silpada maker's mark. It's in excellent condition.

Classic Antonio Pineda bangle bracelet wrought in the maestro's favorite, .970 fine silver alloy with deep notches all around it that appear more dramatic thanks to the intentionally applied oxidation. There is something about Antonio's jewelry that bring them close to your heart as soon as you first see them and this piece is no exception. Enjoy it alone or, if you are lucky enough, add it to the stack of his bangles you already have...

A rare, spectacular Erika Hult de Corral set consisting of two square sterling silver bangles with wood inlay (I believe probably rosewood) this pair is a feast for the eyes and such a treat for the vintage Mexican jewelry collector who also seeks out the few (but amazingly talented) female designers of the field...

This great, puffer fish / blow fish pendant can also be worn as a charm. It measures 1 1/8" from mouth to tail and is 3/4" "tall." It has blue rhinestone eyes and a wonderful, Mexican design. The tail is marked MEXICO 925, below initials that looks like CRL - ( all marks are slightly unstamped--see pictures). It is in excellent condition.
