A stunning creation by the famous Taxco Silver Artist Antonio Pineda and considered to be one of his finest designs, this amazing bracelet is crafted in his favorite 970 silver and black onyx crescent shaped stones. Beautiful sterling silver & rose quartz bracelet designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Comprised of 5 ancient pale pink hand cut, bezel set quartz stones. Center stone measures 1" high. Bracelet will fit up to a 6 3/4" wrist comfortably. Excellent vintage condition. Slide in clasp and safety chain are tight and secure. Fully signed on the reverse. This mid-century bracelet from Margot is a large wide spectacular standout piece. Hand-wrought with superb repoussé silver work, this is certainly one of the most magnificent designs Margot ever created, and it's in absolutely pristine vintage condition. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 3/4", with a width of 1 7/16". Weight is 80.4 grams. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box, with original safety chain.

I love vintage Portuguese silver bracelets, the repousse hinged bangles more specifically, for which makers like Topazio and Safir are well known. They come in all sizes and designs, they are ideal for bracelet stacks but can be just as easily enjoyed worn alone. The example at hand is floral, with sculptural roses and dahlias in full bloom and in bud running its perimeter, rendered more dramatic by the patina time has bestowed upon them...

Circa 1949-1953, this bracelet bears the "Jewels by Antonio" hallmark - one which is not often seen. It's an elegant and exquisite bracelet, with eight panels, each with a gorgeous round moonstone. I believe the silver to be a very high purity. I have not seen this exact design before. The push button tongue box clasp is topped with a moonstone, creating a seamless appearance when closed. Circa pre-1960, this necklace produced by Matilde Poulat has a generous length of 23", with a 3 1/4" wide center. There are amethyst stations on each side, with double chains continuing up the neck. The palomas sit next to a vase with turquoise flowers. Length on the center is 2 1/2".

Weight is a substantial 91.1 grams.

Signed and hallmarked "Matl Mexico 925 Patente 10966", along with the eagle assay 129.

Matl Matilde Poulat opened her shop in 1931.(Pack Davis) She with her nephew Salas produced folk art jewels that are sought after today. This signed example is studded with turquoise and clear, faceted amethyst squares. The silver work shows itself as an excellent example that is 7 in. long and 1.75in. tall. The weight is heavy at 63 grams as a bracelet with open air filigree. Collectors will not be disappointing with this bracelet.

Fabulous sterling tufa cast bolo by Mission/Hopi Preston Monongye ( 1927-87 ). The central piece features a mythical being holding a staff and carrying what appears to be an abstract bundle that is comprised of ebony, turquoise and bone. The central piece measures 3 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide at the top and narrows to 1" at the bottom. The tips are 2 1/4" long. The bolo is hallmarked on the reverse with the peyote bird mark. All pieces are original and in fine condition...

This brooch by Matilde Poulat features a large amethyst front and center, with turquoise cabochons and coral branches in a butterfly design with dangles.

Measures 2" tall x 1 1/2" wide. Pin closes with a rolling "C" clasp.

Weight is 11.8 grams.

Intricately designed 970 sterling silver bracelet designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda. Bracelet is 6 1/2"Long X 3/4"W. Beautiful condition with no dents, dings or repairs. Catch is tight and secure. Safety chain attached. This 1950's design called "Armadillo Scales" was featured in the recent Antonio museum exhibit and is pictured on p.127 of the catalog - SILVER SEDUCTION THE ART OF MEXICAN MODERNIST ANTONIO PINEDA.

This unique vintage Necklace is by the wonderful Margot de Taxco whose skill as a designer is considered to be among the finest of the all the Silver Masters. The links are a row of Roman Numerals from 1 to 12 set between small silver beads. It measures 14 1/2" long by 3/4" wide and it weighs 67 grams. Hallmarked Margot de Taxco, 5201, Sterling Made in Mexico with the eagle 16. Secure box clasp. Light signs of wear and tarnish and a great example of the artistry of Margot de Taxco.

Circa mid-century, this necklace was produced by Ana María Nuñez de Brilanti, whose shop was known as Victoria.

This Victorian revival sterling silver cuff is elaborately decorated with repousse flowers and leaves, with a scrolled reserve at each end. It was made by Kirk & Son of Baltimore, MD, as part of a line of 19th-century-inspired jewelry, some made of pewter. This is one of the larger and more elaborate designs. Correctly signed and rare this Matl designed by Matilde Poulat is a find for the discerning eye. The drop is 4 inches across and 3in. tall including the dangles. The center comes together with a single amethyst cabochon and has many warmed, teal turquoise stones and a row of coral. The clasp shows off a cluster of turquoise cabochons.
