Very early 980 silver FISH clip by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. It is signed "WS TAXCO 980" and measures 1 3/4" square and is worn vertically with the fish head facing downwards. An early chain link charm bracelet with 24 vintage charms from the 1930s-1970s. This 7" chain bracelet has 3/16" wide links and it has a springring clasp and it probably dates to the 1930s as do the silver plated charms. It is unmarked and the charms are marked with silver marks unless noted. Eight of the charms are rhodium plated (rp) and date to the 1970s and the rest are unplated and much earlier...

This mid-century chili pepper bracelet is the work of Salvador Teran. Teran worked with William Spratling at Taller de Las Delicias before leaving with his cousins, the Castillo brothers, in 1939 to work with them at their new taller, "Los Castillo." An amazing sterling silver modernist brooch adorned with four purple cabochons by the renown Israeli jeweler, Rachel Gera. Measures 5" long and 2" across. Can be worn as a pendant with a converter. Here is a bold, mid-century modernist money clip. It's composed of a flexible but sturdy forged-wire frame, with an applied mounted piece of rosewood in a trapezoidal shape. A silver half-bead is applied to a crossbar near the top. The wood has a polished surface and shows no damage or cracking. The clip is unmarked, but tests as sterling. It measures 2 ½ inches long by ¾ inch wide.

Beautifully constructed, there are two curved brass arms that connect to a circular piece of obsidian that turns freely. The brass arms are attached to the sterling locking ends. A pair of vintage sterling silver earrings by Hans Hansen, Denmark are available. They have a hammered streamlined design.

They measure 1 1/8" in diameter. They sit about 1/2" high. These earrings are each marked HaH, Denmark and 925S. The clips hold securely.

Have a warm patina. Lightly hammered. There are a few very small nicks to the edges but they are not really noticeable because they are on the sides. Weigh 20 gr.

Have not found another example of this design. Fine work.
