This Trifari sterling alfred Philippe jelly belly spider pin is sterling vermeil,with rhinestones and lucite. It was designed by Alfred Philippe in 1943. It is 2" by 1 7/8". Lucite jelly bellies were copied from figurals originally done in gold and rock crystal.

An attractive vintage sterling silver 2" brooch or pin from Mexico with a large engraved flower on a turquoise and resin ground c1960s. The engraved edge and flower are well done, and the ground has inlaid turquoise half-circles against a deep blue resin base. This 1930's vintage Mexican Silver Cuff Bracelet by the early Mexican department store Sanborn's features a hand chased and silver repousse floral design. It measures 5 1/4" long with an opening of 1 1/4" by 1 1/3" wide and weighs 33.1 grams. Hallmarked with the Owl figure, Sanborns, Mexico Sterling - the Owl mark was used starting in 1931. The bracelet is in good condition with only light age related wear and tarnish. A lovely bracelet with great style.
Sculptural sterling cuff bracelet by important North American modernist Bill Tendler, c.1950's. Signed: "Tendler, Sterling." Designed by Karin Pedersen for JemAx of Denmark, this sterling silver vermeil and white enamel brooch is such a great example of Scandinavian minimalist / modernist design from the 1960s and 1970s. I love the pearlescence of the white here and the way its translucence brings out the guilloche motifs in the silver underneath. White is a gorgeous color in Scandinavian enamelwork and it pairs perfectly with darker, more subdued hue time and loving use has bestowed to the vermeil finish...
Spratling's Nahui Ollin cuff is often found in a large mens size but this rare one is sized for a woman, is comfortable and will not shake off in movement. It is heavy at 151 grams of high content silver. The amethyst are a gorgeous grape color with no chips or damage. The gap is .75 inches with a diameter of 2 3/8th inches. With a dramatic face front that is 2.25 in. tall the presence is outstanding . One of my favorite designs with thick hand chased details.
A sterling silver hand wrought cuff bracelet and matching ring, each with a central suspended floating orb by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004). Bracelet measures about 6" around with an opening of 7/8", and 1" wide. The orb sits about 3/4" high. Could probably be adjusted slightly. Marked Sterling Berridge on the inside. There is some solder residue on the inside...
This ring depicts a climbing snake. It is adjustable in size. The head of the snake is set in abalone. It is marked TAXCO 925, then (hard to read) MEXICO and maker's initials. It also has the Government assay spread eagle mark with a 3 inside.
