Ledesma is a noted Maestro in Penny Morrill's books. This is a rarely seen all silver Art Nouveau swirl weighing 61 grams heavy. It is properly hallmarked as shown and in 2 places. The repousse is without dents and is flowing in design. At it's widest it is 7/8th's of an inch and is 16.5in. long. The piece is jaw dropping on and you can turn the swirl inside or outside to wear. One pix shows it with the outside swirl. This one deserves our attention, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Wonderfully designed cuff bracelet by Henry Steig, a well known Modernist jewelry designer working in New York City in the 1950s. In 1950 he opened a New York City shop at 51st and First, and a summer store in Provincetown, Massachusetts. In 1955 he moved his NYC shop to 52nd and Lexington. The design of this ridgid bracelet is ingenious, as the opening fits over the bulb of your wrist for comfort. Signed "Henry Steig, sterling". Excellent condition.

This sterling silver & blue Nevada turquoise belt buckle was designed & signed circa 1950's by Native American Hopi designer Preston Monongye (1927-87). Buckle measures 3" X 2" & weighs 74 grams, 2.6 oz. The large Burnham turquoise nugget measures 1 1/2" X 1" and is in perfect condition. Monongye's 1950 hallmark is impressed on the reverse. A delicate but sturdily made openwork pin designed with a scrolled top set with faceted red glass. It has a modified C-clasp and is marked for .800 silver. There is also what appears to be the German word “geschützt” (roughly meaning “registered”) and an intertwined mark that looks like an R within a larger G. The pin stem is of brass and is marked “Metall.” There is a tiny nick to the glass stone, visible only with magnification. The pin measures about 2 7/8 inches long...

Simple, elegant modernist earrings of irregular-shaped panels by Frances Holmes Boothby, bezel-set with cabochons of dyed black onyx. They have very secure screw backs and are marked fhb on the reverse of one, sterling on the other, with sterling indicated on both of the screw backs.
