Tane Orfebres is an important silver house in Mexico City, known as the Tiffany of Mexico. This bracelet is wide, heavy, and gorgeous. Circa 1960's - 70's, this Carmen Beckmann cuff pulls out all the stops. It's an exceptional bracelet which I have not seen before, and believe to be very rare. Seven Mexican fire opals of varying sizes are at front and center. The stones are magnificent, and have flashes of green, orange, blue, and purple. Framed on each side with a raised abstract silver shapes with oxidized recesses. Measures 6" inside edge to edge, with an additional gap/opening of 1 3/16"...

Extraordinary huge vintage sterling and turquoise ring by Zuni Edith Tsatbetsaye who is most well known for her stunning petit point jewelry. There are 25 individually bezel set small, round turquoise stones of varying shades of turquoise from robins egg blue to deep green. The ring is a size 12 1/2 and I believe has been previously sized. It measures 7/8" long and 1 1/8" wide in the front. Weighing a solid 22 grams, it is in fine condition...

This beautiful, sterling silver bracelet measures 7 1/2" long. Each link features a dark, multifaceted stone with iridescent colors. The stones are bezel set. The V-spring box clasp is marked on each piece: the V-spring has the Mexican Assay mark with a 2 inside the spread eagle. The box part is marked with words in a circle; but all I can make out is PLATA 925.

I am a big fan of Carmen Beckmann’s Etruscan style jewelry - her domed Etruscan ring is a foundational piece in my collection and I enjoy it thoroughly. There is something about the way the wire-work and tiny florets with their bead centers oxidize with time that creates an air of warm, comfortable luxury around them that gets me every time. I could easily see the dangle earrings at hand worn by dignified Roman matrons leisurely enjoying their honeyed wine...

This band ring is just under 1/2" wide. It is a size 6. Its design consists of triangles and "balls" over an oxidized background. It is marked STERLING 925 MEXICO in a circle with a conjoined HF S in the center. It also has the assay mark with 111 inside (and marked 925 again). It is excellent condition.

This sterling silver pendant 1 1/2" x 1". The agate stone has shades orange, yellow, and white, and is bezel-set, completely encased in silver. It hangs 9 1/2" from its sterling chain. The back is marked STERLING, with an artist / maker's mark of PW. It has good heft and is in excellent condition. I believe it is of Native American / Navajo origin.

Circa mid-century, this is a seldom seen design from Margot de Taxco. The original drawing is shown in "Margot Van Voorhies : The Art of Mexican Enamelwork", and is called "Intricate Knot". This is collector quality. The two shades of enamel are blue with gold flecks, and white with silver flecks. Necklace is blue with gold flecks. The pendant doubles as a pin. It's a stunning necklace, nice and long at just over 20" closed, wearable length...

Crafted in the late 1950s or in the 1960s, this sterling silver Mexican necklace is signed by Victoria or Ana Maria Nunez de Brilanti. Victoria is one of the few female designers and silversmiths of Taxco’s 20th c. Silver Renaissance that we know of and she is credited, among others, for perfecting the “metales casados” or “married metals” technique. A very rare sterling silver bracelet by Salvador Teran. Depicts a stylized woman praying, carved out of what looks like bone. Also has one curved bone piece on either side of the center section. Marked Salvador, Sterling, Mexico, Design # 510 and Eagle # 36. Measures 7" around and 1 3/8" at the widest. Has a tongue and box closure which snaps tightly and a safety chain. In wonderful condition with a warm patina. Collector quality.

A striking sterling cuff bracelet with an amazing textured design by Navajo Harvey Begay (1938- 2009). He is the son of noted silversmith Kenneth Begay. When a teenager, he worked alongside his father at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, AZ. He opened his own shop in Steamboat Springs, CO. which he operated with his wife from 1972- 79.
