This beautiful peacock barrette measures 2 1/4" x 3/4" at longest and widest points. It is not flat: slightly convex, measuring about 1/8" heightwise (not including the bar/clasp). The mixture of colors is stunning. The enamel is light and dark blue, purple, red, green, orange, yellow....

An amazing sterling silver Cuff Bracelet by the well known Arizona modernist silversmith, H. Fred Skaggs. Has one huge central oval greenish-black cabochon surrounded by thick sterling curls.

Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1 1/2". Can be adjusted slightly. Cabochon measures 3 3/8" long and 2" wide. The bracelet has tarnish, we will leave the decision to polish or not up to the new owner.

Generously long and imposing in its presence, this early Mexican Deco silver, copper and stone necklace with cascabeles is a great example of the way ancient Mesoamerican artifacts found their way into jewelry created during the country's 20th c. Silver Renaissance. Statuettes, clay "masks", beads of stone and silver, carved pieces of bone were unearthed on a daily basis in Mexico's countryside either by accident as people worked the land or as a result of deliberate "digging" to find them...

This triangular pin features a cabochon pink quartz set in a recessed bezel mount. It bears the mark of Danish maker N.E. From and the sterling mark. Deep patination on the front enhances the stone. The rollover clasp is very secure. The pin has a small nick to the edge on the back, shown in the detail photo; it is not viewable from the front. Each side of the pin measures 1 ½ inches long.

Lush, large, and finely detailed early floral sterling pin by Victoria(Ana Nunez Brilanti), Mexico, c.1940. The design shows wonderful dimensional flowers and leaves in a heavy gauge silver. Handmade, this beautiful pin MEASURES 4" LONG by 1 5/8" WIDE. It is signed "VICTORIA MEXICO TAXCO STERLING #16" and is in excellent condition. The #16 represents one of her earliest designs. A large cabochon of Baltic amber with a deep, nicely distributed color is mounted within a sterling floral surround; the mounting has a closed back. The amber exhibits hardly any wear. The back has a working original rollover clasp as well as the maker’s mark of Niels Erik From of Denmark. The pin measures about 1 5/8 inches across.

A well crafted, highly detailed sterling silver insect brooch with opals on the wings, a chrysoprase body and onyx eyes. Measures 1 7/8" long and 1 5/8" at the widest. Marked on the underside with a conjoined 'SJ' or 'JS' logo and 925 for sterling. Has an earlier 'C' clasp which holds securely. Included is the original box with the same hallmark. Box also has a maker's mark, 'Jorge St?'. We were unable to read the last name and could not determine the artist...

A vintage pair of three dimensional sterling silver pierced earrings, each formed from a single bent and flattened sterling wire with a pearl accent by modernist jeweler, Russell Secrest, (1935-2010).

These hand made earrings measures 3/4" at the widest, 5/8" deep and 7/8" tall. Marked Secrest Sterling on the side of both earrings. One earring is easier to read than the other.

They are opposites so frame the face when worn...

Wonderful post modern hand made sterling and gold ring by Novak, c. 1970's. Of very large dimension, the design shows a soaring bird with a gold head flying high above the band. The gold is directly soldered to the silver. The wing span measures 1 7/8" wide and stands 1" above the band and is size 8 1/4.
