Architectural modernist sterling horse head earrings by Paul Lobel(1899-1983), c.1950's. These earrings show a stylized horse head with applied silver wire forming a dimensional profile. Extremely rare and large sterling figural pin by Abraham Paz, Mexico c.1930. He designed for Fred Davis, so it is clear that this famous design was created by Paz. Here, we see a variation on a theme, with a man wearing a serape and holding a rope. The signature is RARE showing the Paz mark, which this antique dealer has never seen before. It is signed "CAP(stylized) HECHO EN MEXICO D.E. A.PAZ 0.925" and is in excellent condition. Of very good size, it measures 2 3/4" high by 1 5/8" wide...

Modernist handmade necklace signed "SAM W. GRAVES STERLING", c.1950's. It combines an art deco and Native American feel in an interesting geometric chevron design. Not certain, but I believe that Sam Graves was a contemporary of Frank Patania and H. Fred Skaggs, working in the southwest. This hollow silver necklace shows a high degree of craftsmanship. There are 3 sections connected by a paper clip chain. The middle section measures 2 1/4" by 1". Each side section measures 1 7/8" by 3/4"...
