A spectacular and rare Mexican sterling clamper signed by noted maker RAF with his eagle 28 and signed again by another mark in the circle as shown. This has an airy feel to the floral design with lots of open space and the weight is 65 grams. the diameter of the oval for size is 2.5in. which equates to approximately 7in. wearable. Enrique Ledesma is famous for his stone to the silver inlays and remember this was before laser technology. In this necklace there is a large Agate with the bands ranging from browns to reds. Don't be afraid of the necklace band that goes around the neck as it does not flip up. There are two hinges on the sides and the curve is masterfully sculpted. This modernist design by William Spratling dates to the 1950's. Weighing 90 grams the necklace is 20 inches long. The opposing "tongues" measure 2 1/2" across X 2". Screw back earrings 1 1/8" x 1". This bracelet is made of six linked stylized flowers alternating with bars decorated with incised circular elements. The flower 'petals' are actually formed as coffee beans. The box clasp is secure, as are the connections between each flower. There is an Iguala/Mexico/925diamond-shaped mark on the back of the clasp with the unidentified maker’s initials, which look like EHP but may actually be EMB according to the third edition of Bille Hougart's book of Mexican maker's marks...

Woven figure eights set off design # 5625 - A by Margot Van Voorhies. The bracelet is just under one inch and the earrings are 1 3/8th's long. The silver is thick and has 70 grams combined weight. This is a very rare design with a rich presence and a soft touch to the silver. All pieces properly hallmarked for Margot de Taxco Taller. Margot was a premier designer in the Mexican Silver Renaissance and certainly the most accomplished female artist.

The quality workmanship is further demonstrated with a weight 122 grams. Hallmarked with pre 1960 patent and registration.
