A flying swallow sterling marcasite brooch pin circa 1930s. This attractive 1930s sterling silver 1-3/8" pin is encrusted with flashy marcasites, it has a safety catch, it weighs 3.6 grams, it is stamped 925, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

One of the most elusive pieces designed by Danish modernist Hans Hansen, this sterling silver neck ring has been in my collection for a long time. The idea was to get a pendant by the same designer so as to complete the necklace but it never happened and I decided to give that same opportunity to someone else out there. So if you have been looking for a Hansen neck ring and have not been able to find one, here is your golden chance...

Lariat necklaces are a favorite of mine and when I come upon a good Mexican example, I make every effort to bring it to One Good Eye Silver. Truth be told, they don't come up as often as other forms but it is an exciting quest to pursue. The late Deco / retro piece I am presenting here is a clipless version - you can adjust it by tying a loose knot at the desired height and change the way it looks whenever you feel like it...

Lovely sterling, marcasites, and cultured pearl flower/leaves pin by Theodor Fahrner, Germany, c.1940's. Of good size and weight, it measures 2" high by 1 3/4" wide and is signed "TF(in circle) STERLING GERMANY". Excellent condition, although missing three marcasites. This ring is the match to the pair of Patania cuffs listed. The same gorgeous design and execution, it is a size 5 and weighs 20 grams. The face of the ring is 1 1/4" long and 1" wide. Fine condition. Signed as shown. This ring looks stunning all on its own but is a show stopper when worn together with the cuffs.

Lovely sterling bracelet with very large apple jade stones. Circa 1900. Marked S, for sterling silver. With a light gold wash. Decorated with finely detailed repousse designs depicting stylized flower forms. With a slide clasp and safety catch. An excellent piece to wear alone or to layer with other jade bracelets.

No collector should be without this signed Spratling River of Life cuff. There are two designs with that name of Spratlings and one has roping around the balls and the other has a smooth frame around the balls. This one is smooth and rich in detail. The silver is really thick and deeply hand chased. It has a first phase hallmark as shown. The gap is 1.5in. and fits a medium sized wrist and can be sized larger to some degree if needed. The inside diameter is 2.25in...

Circa 1939, from William Spratling's first design period, here is his Tuliman necklace. Shown in "William Spratling and the Mexican Silver Renaissance", "Silver Seduction : The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda", and "Mexican Silver", as well as the Spratling Silver website, this piece is known as Tuliman Bird Necklace. Very cute and sporting quite an obsidian sheen is this rather large 2 inches long and 1 inch wide beetle brooch. Hallmarked as shown with an early eagle 3. The weight is 14 grams. Very well made and a perfect gift or just for yourself!

This Scottish sterling deep red jasper from the Campsie Fells in Stirlingshire and bloodstone from the Isle of Rum lover's knot is 2" x 1 7/8". No hallmarks. Bright cut .

Great architecturally designed silver and amethyst handmade pin by Kasityo, Finland, 1965. There are 2 different silver finishes - flat and grainy - that work together well. The piece is signed "KASITYO JOSE (CROWN IN HEART)FINLAND 813H(silver content) M7(1965) ANCHOR symbol made in Lahti(city) and is in excellent condition. The handmade lock is decorative and lovely. A fabulous sterling bracelet with six very large carved and pierced jade stones set in bamboo form frames. Marked CHINA, NO. 23 and SILVER. Circa 1900 - 1930. With a slide clasp and a silver openwork panel at the clasp. The silver panel matches the flower and fruit pattern of the jade stones. The silver has a slightly aged finish and has a light gold wash. From a Philadelphia estate.
