A twist to Margot de Taxco's classic all silver zodiac pendant / charms this sinewy Sagittarius rises above a background of multicolored confetti enamel. This Bracelet is a design most recognized by Fred Davis. Hallmarked Mexico Silver and being 7.25in. long and 1.5in. tall makes this bracelet quite a statement maker. The bezels are very well made and there are no dents or chips to the stones or silver. Even though it has an open air design it still weighs 65 grams heavy. Very soft and silky to the touch it is a pleasure to wear.

This triangular pin features a cabochon pink quartz set in a recessed bezel mount. It bears the mark of Danish maker N.E. From and the sterling mark. Deep patination on the front enhances the stone. The rollover clasp is very secure. The pin has a small nick to the edge on the back, shown in the detail photo; it is not viewable from the front. Each side of the pin measures 1 ½ inches long.

This ornate Peruzzi sterling silver necklace dates from the 1950s and features a central eagle drop flanked by grotesque masks. They are suspended from a bead chain. The mark of Peruzzi Boston is on the back of the eagle; the necklace is also marked sterling. The necklace measures 16 1/2 inches long; the eagle drops 1 1/4 inches. Weight: 20.4 grams

There are some pieces of jewelry that simply defy any effort to photograph them. And this stunning Taxco modernist sterling silver and blue spinel hinged bangle is one of them - a really tough one at that too! Early Mexico City open backed repousse cuff looks so fabulous without being embossed around the background of the roses because it makes the repousse really pop. This is a 1 10/16th in. wide and the diameter is 2.5in. There are no repairs, no dents and no light holes that come from poorly pressed silver. The roses are brisk and superbly dimensional. Beautifully hand hammered, this piece measures 11" by 7" by 2 1/2" high. It has a rounded bottom and sides with beautiful handles. The sides are rounded inward and will not accept a top. I have written in the past that Elna jewelry is more often than not very generous in proportions but this stunner of a bracelet goes above and beyond that! It is not just its sheer monumentality that impresses. It is also the classically "archaeological" character of the design itself which is expressed by the carved stone "mask" of an ancient Aztec Eagle warrior. These unique Earrings by Antonio Pineda are a great example of the imaginative designs he is know for. The earring resemble an Arrow open at the center which slip between the front and back of your earlobe so when worn it appears that the top of the arrow is piercing your ear and exiting at the bottom. They measure 1 1/2" long and each is marked with the Antonio Taxco Crown Mark. In good condition with light wear - the backs are a bit out of shape - and they have some light tarnish...

I have never seen cuff links these. They are made of obsidian with an abstract wheel design. The disks have a diameter of just over 1/2". The silver "wheels" are not just applied, they are connected to the back plate which is marked with the eagle, #9 and VALENTIN with a line extending from the top of the V, over all the letters. These unusual cuff links have a good heft and are in excellent condition. I believe they are circa early 1950's.

This is a pre-1948 Rafael Melendez bracelet that is so deeply chased and designed so beautifully. It is 1 inch wide and can fit a large range of sizes. The weight is 43 grams of thick silver. It has a turquoise stone that is gorgeous and has changed into over time a warmer tone of blue green. This piece is collector quality and a real treasure.

Early & rare this vintage sterling silver, turquoise and coral bracelet was designed circa 1930-48 by Matilde Poulat. The dove (palomas)at the center is raised so it appears to be inflight. Poulat signed her designs Matl, a variation on the Aztec word for water. The center panel is 1 1/2" across x 1 1/4" high. Length is 7 1/4". Each link measures 1" high. A substantial sterling silver chain bracelet composed of two- and three-loop interlocking links. It has an unusual hook closure formed from a rolled panel of silver. It is marked 925 at one end and measures 7 ½ inches long by 1 ¼ inches wide. Weight: 60.6 grams

Formed as square panels with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation. The design is called "Pine Needle." The earrings have the original screw backs, which are in good working order. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. Each earring measures 3/4 inch square. Weight: 6.6 grams

These earrings have a crafts-like and substantial feel, composed of applied sterling flowers, leaves and vines on a sterling silver backing. The clip backs are very secure; the earring backs bear what looks like a partial C, possibly for Cini. They measure 1 inch by 3/4 inch. Weight: 8.1 grams total
