Beto has shown us quality plus original designs to everything that I have seen. His work was always made with thick silver and this set has a total weight is 93 grams heavy. Every link in this set is 6/16th of an inch tall and 1.75in.across. The length is 15in. plus with the necklace built on a curve it adds a bit more length. The stones are barrel cut and they are darker than they appear in most of the photos. No chips or damage to any part of this well loved and cared for grouping...

This sterling silver and rosewood pin was designed and in the 1940's by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. Brooch measures 2 1/4" X 2". We are offering a very old, Mexican Silver carved amethyst necklace crafted with heavy repousse. The center stone drop is larger at 2in. x 1.75in. and is also smoother to the touch. The smaller carvings are sharper edged and have a more clear iridescence. All stones are original to this necklace as you can see they were made to fill an exact space and no bezels have been disturbed. RARE:Set of 4 malachite and sterling SHOT glasses by William Spratling, made during the CONQUISTADOR period, Mexico, c.1949. Spratling had a contract with Conquistador and produced 300 items during 1949-1951. He received royalties for the designs and the items were made by Conquistador. The silver shot glass sits on a square malachite base. They each measure 2" high and the base is 1" square. Each pair is attached with an original piece of twine...

The repousse work is outstanding on this design 543 Los Castillo bracelet. It is 2 inches tall with a hook closure. The old linear hallmark and the design itself shows that this was the work of Margot Van Voorhies when married to Antonio Castillo. Together they formed the taller Los Castillo. The links are rounded to fit the arm perfectly and are 6.75 inches long. An outstanding bracelet to add to a collectors wardrobe. It will be noticed by all that gaze upon it.

A gorgeous pair of sterling clip back earrings with wire wrapped blue topaz stones by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. They measure 1 1/4" by 1 1/8"and weigh 18 grams total. The cabochon blue topaz is slightly darker than the camera captures and these stones are free of chips or cracks. Fine original condition and signed as shown. It has become almost impossible to find a pair of Fred Skaggs earrings with stones for sale. They seem to have all gone into the hands of collectors and not come out...

A rare, stunning vintage sterling necklace and earrings by Modernist Joachim S'Paliu of Cordorba, Spain. Born in 1944, he produced a significant line of jewelry during the 1960's and 70's. This big, bold, neck ring and attached pendant opens and closes with a tight hook clasp on one side of the neck ring. The neck ring measures 15" around total and the pendant measures 3 1/4" long including the bale. Total weigh of the necklace is 70 grams. The earrings are clip backs with posts for pierced ears...

Alfredo Villasana was one of the finest Maestros of the Mexican Silver Renaissance. This treasure is a hand made pectoral that is shadow boxed with a nielo underneath and leaves styled and cut out with precision running across the top. The necklace weighs 105 grams of thick silver. The wearable length is a mimimum of 17 inches. No repairs or damage just, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

The sterling silver cat & fish pin was designed by Hubert Harmon in the 1940's. Fish with hook measures 5" long. Cat head with cascabells is 1 1/2" X 1 1/2". The connecting chain is 10" long. Cat has amethyst eyes, fish with amethyst eye & amethyst tail detail. Pin back and locks work perfectly. Beautiful condition. Harmon designs are rare as he only created his Taxco, Mexico silver pieces for a very few years in the 1940's. His works are featured in WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENA...

Signed Los Castillo and constructed with thick silver weighing 84 grams. The repousse is beautifully fashioned with flowing curls and beaded sides and a dark natural patina. This clamper bracelet is design 250 with the artist being Margot Van Voorhies before her divorce to Antonio Castillo. The presence is stunning with a height of 2.5 inches. Fits most with an inner diameter of 2 3/8th inches. No dents, strong spring and no repairs. One of the very best from the Spratling era.
