This elaborately worked bracelet, done by hand, was made by Maciel Silver Factory of Mexico, c.1950’s. It is marked “925/1000," "MACIEL" (maker's mark), "STERLING MADE IN MEXICO” (see pictures). The central, convex, Aztec god oval measures 1 3/4” x 1 1/4” while the cuff with the eagle warrior masks measures 1 3/8”. This piece is in excellent condition.

This bracelet consists of 6 hinged links, each slightly convex. Each has a lovely, filigree design with a decorative border in which the turquoise blue, Egyptian, faience scarabs are set. The bracelet is silver gilt and measures 7 3/8" long x 3/4". The hinge is very interesting. It is a trombone type.

This bold Mexican sterling silver bracelet is composed of domed hollow panels with complex cut-out designs based on pre-Columbian motifs. It was made by the premier Taxco workshop of Los Ballesteros. It has a very secure tongue-and-groove clasp with a graceful curved knob; the bracelet also appears to have the original safety chain. The cut work is intact; the hollowed areas within are oxidized to dramatically set off the designs. There are some very minor dents in the sides of a few panels...

Lovely sterling silver brooch worked in soft white guilloche enamel and featuring a painted enamel bouquet of blue gentians. The workmanship is very fine. The back is marked "S925S" and retains the original c-clasp which indicates an early date.

Origin: Scandinavia, probably Denmark, circa 1920. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 1-5/8" diameter. Weight: 14.5 grams.

A vintage modernist sterling silver pendant by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulti Oy, Turku Finland. A three dimensional design with overlapping flowers.

Measures about 1 5/8" across and 1 7/8" high including the bale. In very nice condition with a dark patina, we did not polish it.

Marked with the Anvil, and 925S on one side of the bale and Finland on the other side. Fine example of Kauppi's work.

This bracelet is made of six linked stylized flowers alternating with bars decorated with incised circular elements. The flower 'petals' are actually formed as coffee beans. The box clasp is secure, as are the connections between each flower. There is an Iguala/Mexico/925diamond-shaped mark on the back of the clasp with the unidentified maker’s initials, which look like EHP but may actually be EMB according to the third edition of Bille Hougart's book of Mexican maker's marks...

Alovely Brooch by the famous Taxco Silver Artist Hector Aguilar features two stylized flower blossoms along with a curved leaf on curving stems. Crafted in Aguilars favored 940 silver which give the silver a lovely rich patina. It measures 3" wide by 3 1/2" long and weigh 18.6 grams. Hallmarked Taxco, HA, 940. Light age related wear and tarnish a secure pin clasp. A lovely piece.
