Rare sterling modernist choker necklace by Sigi, c.1952. Extremely heavy, it weighs 5 troy oz(150 gms)and is in excellent condition. The concave necklace houses graduated dimensional silver balls going around the entire piece. Sigi opened his PLATEROS shop in 1952, and one rarely sees the PLATEROS mark. The necklace is signed "PLATEROS TAXCO MEXICO STERLING #17 bellmark-can't read". The choker measures 14" around and is for a small neck...

These handsome cuff links are so very sleek while they keep it simple: a welcome characteristic of Pearson’s work. The heavy, solid, sterling silver is another Pearson signature. They measure 1” x 3/4” (x 1/8” at their widest). They are both signed “STERLING PEARSON” and are in excellent condition.

Circa mid-century, this amethyst koi fish pin is an iconic design from Margot de Taxco. It's a tour-de-force, superbly detailed and collector quality. This Los Castillo bracelet is a truly stunning piece, with a wonderful deco design. There are six gently curved panels connected with oxidized bulls-eye spirals, from which two pendants dangle in front. This is Los Castillo's design # 788, and it is collector quality. Complete with safety chain. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 1/4". Width in front with the dangles is 1 1/2". Weight is 42.3 grams. Signed and hallmarked "Los Castillo Taxco", 788, with a very worn eagle assay.

These earrings produced by Hector Aguilar are a book-piece design, shown p. 87 Silver Masters of Mexico. They have a stunning deco design, with bell shaped pendants which are deeply incised. The recesses are oxidized, and 5 pendants dangle below. Screwbacks work perfectly. These measure 2 1/2" long, 1 1/16" wide. Weight is 19.4 grams. Signed and hallmarked "HA 940 Taxco" with the eagle assay 9. Collector quality.

This Antonio Pineda "Silver by Toño" hallmark dates 1948-1953. It's a timeless design. elegant and classy, which works with any outfit and is quite flattering. Measures a closed, wearable length of about 6 7/8". Width is 3/4". Closes with a pin on a chain. Weight is 50.1 grams. Signed and hallmarked "Silver by Toño Mexico". In excellent vintage condition. Circa mid-century, this Margot de Taxco creation is a rare version of her hibiscus design with a centerpiece. An intricate design, exquisitely crafted, and one which lays perfectly on the neck. Fabulous vintage necklace with thirteen glowing "dragon's breath" glass cabochons simulating fire opals, in baroque, deeply worked settings. Marked STERLING, TAXCO, EMMA, and numbered 279. This is the mark of Emma Melendez of Taxco, active 1953-1971. Slide clasp. 16 inches wearable length and 7/8 inch wide. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail. A vintage 1940s-50s hand engraved sterling silver baby bracelet in the form of a buckle. This 3/8" wide bangle measures 1-3/4" across the interior at the maximum setting of the buckle and pin style clasp; it weighs 7.3 grams, it is marked STERLING with an 8 and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than being slightly off-round...

A pair of vintage sterling silver bangle bracelets c1930s-40. They measure 2-3/4" across the interiors and they are 3/16" wide and they are both stamped STERLING but they have different maker's marks although both have the same diamonds finish. They each weigh 12.9 grams, and they are in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Very cool sterling silver cuff bracelet made in 1971 in Sweden. The interior is smooth, and the exterior is textured. The light hitting the soft lines makes the piece apears always in motion. Hallmarked and signed: "GK," V9, Sterling, Sweden." Adjustable. 1.75" at the widest.

These mid-century earrings from Antonio Pineda are large and unusual. The primitive hunter design is said to have been based on the Lascaux cave drawings, used on several of his pieces. I have the matching bracelet in my shop. These dangle earrings are quite substantial, measuring 2" top to bottom, with a width of 1 7/16". Weight is 28.5 grams...

The "Silver By Toño" hallmark was used from 1948-1953. For the discerning collector of Mexican silver - this bracelet is nothing short of spectacular.

This bracelet alternates five huge amethyst cabochons between repoussé silver shields tipped with silver balls. Closure is a pin on a chain. This design, in a necklace, is shown on p. 96 of Silver Seduction. The amethysts measure 15/16" in diameter.

Closed wearable length is just over 6 1/2"...

This fine pin, with its deep, dark yellow, palmate leaves is by Norwegian silversmith Bernard Meldah. It is sterling vermeil with basse-taille enamel and measures 1 3/4” x 1 3/4”. It has a C-catch and is marked “925 S STERLING” “MB” (superimposed, Meldah’s maker’s mark) and “MADE IN NORWAY.” This piece is in excellent condition.

Circa mid-century, this is a rarely seen design from Antonio Pineda. I have seen hoop earrings from Antonio, but not this exact design with the rims.

These are fabulous! Repousse sterling silver hoop earrings which are very substantial - weighing 32 grams. Wide and puffy in the center, with a rim on each side. They are comfortable to wear and very secure. Hinged on one side, so simply open in the center to slide right on your ears...

It's a substantial stunning necklace, measuring just over 16" closed wearable length, with a width of 1 1/2"...

This is a wonderful prayer book, sterling silver bracelet charm. The front of the book has a cross. The charm opens to reveal The Lord's Prayer. When closed, the charm measures just under 1/2" x just over 1/2". When open, the charm measures just over 3/4" long. The inside is marked STERLING JMF CO.

A symbol of good luck, abundance and contentment the “laughing Buddha” medallions adorning the links of this Chinese silver bracelet are carved out of turquoise and have rich detail. Slightly graduated in size the are held against classic Deco tight mesh panels overlaid with filigree tendrils, tiny beading and delicate plants in full bloom. The stone’s blueish green hue soothes the eye and its natural matrix enhances the medallions’ sculpturality...
