Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 54, and Eagle #3. Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has minor surface scratches. Interesting contrast of oxidized and shiny sterling. A very beautiful brooch by a talented artisan.

An Art Nouveau Kerr sterling thistle brooch circa 1900. This sterling silver pin is by Kerr (1880s-1927) and it in the form of a large stylized thistle. This 2-1/8" x 1-1/2" brooch is of hollow construction with very high relief detail; it has the axe mark for Kerr and it is stamped STERLING and 1941 model number...

Impressive in size this vintage Janna Thomas Mexican silver pendant is an example of the "pluma Azteca" technique which incorporates vividly colored bird feathers in sterling jewelry. Very reminiscent of plique-a-jour work, "pluma Azteca" was introduced by the Los Castillo workshop and it is a demanding, difficult process so it was emulated by just a handful of other Taxco maestros. Thomas excelled in it, however, and her pieces are sought after by knowledgeable collectors...

Fabulous large and fascinating sterling ring by Karram, c.1970's. As you turn the ring it is completely different around. Made of heavy gauge silver, it weighs 16 grams, is size 6 1/2, and is about 3/4" wide. Signed in "KARRAM(handmade) STERLING" and is in excellent condition. A vintage sterling silver modernist ring by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Reminds us of an abstract spiderweb. Measures about a size 7 but is adjustble. Top measures 1 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" high. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925H for sterling, Town mark for Turku and T7 for 1972. Very nice condition. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A beautiful sterling silver and purple crystal sautoir necklace circa 1920s. This ekegant early Art Deco era necklace has a large amethyst crystal facetted unfoiled stone and paste rhinestones. The drop measures 2" x 3/4", the fine link chain is 17-1/2" long and it is stamped STG with a maker's mark. It weighs 7.2 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch designed by Gertrude Engel for Anton Michelsen, from Sweden. Measure 1 5/8" across and 1 3/8" high. Has a brown swirled oval cabochon. Marked with the MIC hallmark and the three crowns silver standard mark used by Anton Michelsen when in Stockholm, Sweden from 1946-63. Also marked with S for the town mark, A9 for 1951 and Engel. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Silver has a warm patina...

A modernist 830 silver ring with a brutalist design from Sweden. Has 5 square shaped cut outs and contrasting textures across the top. The top is a raised disk that sits on 2 arms and measures 7/8" across.

Currently measures size 7, but is adjustable.

Marked with the three crowns national mark, 830 for the silver content and S for the silver standard.

Has minor tarnish. There are two tiny cut marks on the back of the shank.

Quality piece. Fine modernist design.

Pendant measures 2 1/4" long with the 2 bales and 7/8" across. Marked engla and 925S on the back of the pendant, and the mark IBH which may be for Illums Bolighus, a high end store in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The chain measures about 24" long and has a secure spring ring closure. It is marked 925S and IBH on the ring attaching it to the chain...

The clasp is marked Sterling with some other hallmarks that are too tiny to read. Has minor surface scratches.
