Large handmade mixed metals(gold and silver) modernist pin with blue oval chalcedony(1 1/4" by 7/8"), c.1960's. The stone is bezel set off center. The design consists of positive and negative space, as shown with applied dimensional gold and silver geometric pieces versus handcut holes. Pin has substantial weight and measures a VERY LARGE 2 5/8" IN DIAMETER. Very rich with a high level of artistry and original design...

This substantial 1950s sterling silver pin is formed as molded leaves, with applied flowers and a vine at the base. It was made by the Bauring Company of Long Island City, NY, and is so marked on the back. There is a secure safety clasp. The piece measures 3 1/4 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide.
Signed Valentin designs seldom surface as their rarity, style and elegance make them highly sought after works of art. This sculptural piece measures 2" across X 1 3/4" high and weighs 33 grams. Twin fish necklace in amethyst and brass signed MAYA MEXICO after a design first introduced by Hubert Harmon (c.1940-50). This necklace will comfortably fit up to a 15 inch neck. The two fish and amethyst drop measure 5 1/2 inches across. Both fish have an amethyst eye and a faceted amethyst stone extending from their tail. A single amethyst cab hangs between the 2 fish. Each brass chain measures 5 1/2 inches.
Nice example of the work of Taller Borda designer Gabriel Flores (c.1950)who worked with Hector Aguilar and was allowed to use his own GF hallmark along with Aguilar's eagle # 9 and the Taller Borda hallmark. Face of each link is 1 inch X 1/2 inch wide.
